Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★Doesn't work. It generates a list, and let's you tick entries on the list, but when you press the kill button it just removed the top entry. From the list. Nowhere else. It doesn't stop anything. When it gets to the process you actually selected it stops even doing that. Complete waste.
5 ★All unused apps which are working in the background, is deleted by this app.
2 ★Very few settings to adjust for personalization of app. It is a very very simple task killer. Nothing more. Apps restart unless this app runs constantly to keep them force shutting, which is no help to those who want battery savings. It could be good, but needs more Umph!
5 ★Easier to use than some others, thanks to all involved, I don't mind a very few pics with instant close on them for this. Other's are difficult to understand, plagued with 30 second ad's, too much is counter-productive, and shows how little they understand their target audience. Thanks again, Gary Brandrick ;+)
2 ★Used to be the best task killer till the latest updates. The animation when killing now is just useless and annoying I dont even care about the ad but the animation is useless. What was wrong with just the message that said how many apps were killed and how much mb was killed? At least put a setting in that lets me turn it off and ill come back to this one.
1 ★The interface is not intuitive. I deselect items that I don't want to kill at this moment, and press kill selected apps. And rather than kill the selected apps, it moves deselected apps to the ignore list in settings rather than 'Kill Selected Apps'. There should be a second button for 'Add to Ignore List'. Your GUI is garbage.
1 ★Animation is slowing this application down. It used to be very good, but now the adverts are getting in the way. Update: it simply doesn't work anymore. After running it, same processes are still in the background. It used be the best, sadly no more.
2 ★When I open the app, it appears did have auto-added tasks to be killed. When this happens, I have to go through the list, and uncheck apps. This takes at from the simplicity. I don't want to whitelist these apps, just not have them selected by this app.
5 ★Seems to kill tasks (as advertised) and free up memory. Keep in mind that Android is does seem to restart some key tasks automatically, which is likely a good thing. I do wish that it would be more obvious which check marks mean "selected to delete", versus a non-selected check mark image.
5 ★This one actually dose what it says it will do, until it doesn't. Though it diffinitly is better then the others I've tried, at some point; as with everyone one to these types of apps, they become corrupted, and this one is no exception. Again though, this still is the best I've found so far!
1 ★High expectations, low delivery from app. App only reveals a 0.001% of System Apps in a list that need to be killed (ex. Verizon Bloatware). If you're looking for the most simple functionality and "lack of power" to get things done, then this app is perfect for you. Uninstalled.....
3 ★I originally thought this was effective. Now I'm not sure. There are certain apps I occasionally run that TK says are still running after I close them. But if I "kill" them in TK, then exit TK and run it again, the apps are still there. I can manually force the apps to stop (in my phone's Settings > Apps)—then I run TK again, and it still shows them running (even though I can confirm they're not). I think I'll look for something more dependable.
