Description
Point your phone and this app will show you what peak you are looking at. No cell/wifi connection necessary.Tap the screen for additional info of the highlighted peak.
Swipe up and down to increase or decrease the range to search for peaks
Swipe left and right to increase or decrease the field of view (spread) to search for peaks
Manage your waypoints
Add your own waypoints with the '+ action button'.
Remove waypoints with the 'Waypoint mgr'
Save waypoints with 'export WP' selection under settings - starting release 2.0.4. This builds either a wtp.kml or wtp.pgx file in your 'Documents' directory. KML format is useful for viewing in Google Earth. GPX format is useful for various GPS applications.
The app has a database of over 3000 peaks. Most are over 9000 ft in elevation. Not to leave anyone out, each state has it's 50 highest peaks.
You can change units to metric in settings, if you prefer.
