4 ★This app has been great so far - a good alternative to pocket weather. The only thing I've found missing so far is first and last light, that's something I look at a lot to see how much daylight is left! Otherwise neat layout and worth paying to support the development and remove the ads.
5 ★Been using this because it reflects the BOM forecasts and is easier to navigate
3 ★9/7/20..It's usually great, but lately I've been getting the wrong radar map for my area..hope you can fix it..very annoying and disappointing..not fixed yet..new phone Samsung S20.. 11/7/20 fixed!..Thankyou 10/8/20 Widget keeps freezing and won't update, and as someone else said coming from Pocket Weather there are some very high standards to be reached..yet to see those, and if widget isn't working properly it's pretty pointless, dropped a star
4 ★Fantastic, but would just love to have a way to see the predicted rainfall on the current day. The forecast can show you for days in the future when there's 90% chance of 5 to 10mm but once you reach that day I can't find a way to see that information and I have to go to bom.gov.au to find out.
3 ★Great replacement for pocket weather. However it doesn't always display the right suburb from the right state... Eg I follow Richmond VIC and add them to my favourites, however it often displays Richmond NSW instead even though I pick VIC... Go figure. *** Jan 2020 update - since Android 10 update, widget requires manual refresh to show right day and temp.
3 ★Best replacement I have found for Pocket Weather so far, the weather is accurate using BOM data. My only issue is that unlike Pocket Weather, the current UV level is not at all accurate and always way off when compared to the Sun Smart app. Unfortunately I now have to keep both apps instead of an accurate all in one weather app.
4 ★I am replacing my much-loved Pocket Weather AU which is no longer available. It's early days but so far seems ok but it's hard coming from the best weather app ever! I have purchased it with hope in my heart. It could look a little bit cleaner on the widget.....update a few months down the track: I still miss Pocket Weather AU, actual info good. This is ok but the widget is not attractive. Pocket Weather AU enabled transparency adjustment on the widget which is your greatest contact with the app
5 ★Great app. There few shortcomings however. The detailed weather forecast shows time in 6 hourly chunks. Would be nice to have a slider to see conditions at a particular point in time. Current UV index on the widget or even app screen wouldn't hurt but not as essential. Otherwise great app. Thanks!
2 ★well...it's no Pocket Weather. Cannot change the order of information, or include the radar as a first layer...you have to scroll then click a button to get the radar???, radar defaults to 128km and you cannot select to include radar data like temperature/wind speed/rain etc like you can on others. And why Ad's??? there were no ads on pocket weather.
1 ★The notification temperature is always a random temperate, if you click it and open the app the app states a different temperature, often off by 5-7 degrees. On top of that the weather in the app is also often wrong, currently it's reporting a temperature of 26°, but according to the graph of temperature over time it should be 22°, it isn't supposed to be 26° until around 8am tomorrow morning.
1 ★Unless. I can't select my location it wants to pick locations that are nowhere near me. Maybe it only allows major places.
4 ★EDIT ** 21/2 Now its just a broken mess doesnt recognise that location is turned on at all I turn location on and off and still no change doesnt matter if its on Wifi or Mobile data nothing is working ** great app lots of useful info but sadly its no good when using mobile data to view the weather as it keeps coming up with location unavailable please turn on location ( its already on stupid app ) put it on wifi and it works great swap to mobile network gets you nothing
