5 ★SUCH A COOL APP!! Love the widget styles you can choose from to put on home screen! Shows SOOO many details when you click on the widget or app & you can modify which of the details you want to see as well as the layout/background of the app. Also gives alerts & sounds when there is a weather alert (which you can modify the sound settings too). SO many features! And accurate weather.
5 ★I love the fact it changes as I go from one place to the next town. also it's not taking up a whole page constantly. I just hit the widget and it opens up to very colorful info. from temp to wind speed uv ratings tomorrow weather and the rest of the week. and lots more info to keep you prepared. you must try this!. ps there's a sm. constant weather for your area on the home page.
4 ★I really like this app. It has been for years my go to for weather for years. I didn' give it 5 stars is simply because ever since I instantiated it on this new phone every time I access it I have to plow through a group of annoying screens to set the temperature, wind speed and everything. Not to mention the promotion to purchase the full version. Every time, it never saves my settings. When the full version starts in 2 more days I will delete it and cancel if this nonsense doesn't stop.
3 ★Update 2023 This used to be an excellent app but now its polluted with a plethora of pop up ads & functions that no longer work. Too bad, I really loved this app I really love this app. It's well laid out, the ad placement isn't intrusive and it gives me all the little details i need to know like wind speed, heat index, etc. And...it sends me alerts if the weather is turning which i really appreciate. I never leave feedback unless it's surprisingly good (or bad) but in this case it's fantastic.
5 ★This widget is well worth the purchase price, and has been on my phone's home screen, on and off, for a while now. I heartily recommend this, but there is a significant issue that needs t be addressed... when selecting larger widgets (like the 4x3) where you can choose several things to be displayed (sunrise/sunset, wind icon, humidity, pressure, etc.), only a couple of them display in portrait mode, so you have to make sacrifices and leave some desired info out for the widget to display neatly. Can anything be done about this? Apart from this, it's easily a 5-star widget.
2 ★Not very accurate weather forecast. Always getting the daily high temperature wrong constantly. This is because they don't use AccuWeather, only Foreca and some other one I've never heard of. A shame, really, because I liked the fact it had a nice widget interface that showed the time with the weekly forecast, and you could switch to hourly by simply tapping on the weekly part. If they used AccuWeather, I'd be inclined to use this, but until they get with the program, I'm using something else.
3 ★Widgets barely work and freeze frequently and have to be manually updated to show correct time/date info. UPDATE: In response to Developer Reply: Had already figured that one out. It's irritating to have to force stop after every location change, or severe weather warning, or some other random occurrence. FINAL UPDATE: In response to second Developer Response: "IT'S NOT US IT'S YOUR PHONE" reducing to 1 star.
2 ★I use a Galaxy S4 as my primary unit... this app has totally failed in the last 2 years... Radar is not an option: it isn't on any page until one goes to the menu and asks for it... and then it doesn't function period. This is my work phone - it works fine... but it's a Galaxy S7edge... apparently if you have an old phone, forget modern app abilities... Think it's time to simply find NOAA on my various platforms for reliability... Sad... this was the best app I've found up until now.
2 ★Ever since a recent update the time overlaps with the date on the display, and now when the forecast updates it tells you the time it updated instead of how long ago it was. I shouldn't have to check the time to know how old the forecast update is. I had to expand the widget to get the time to display properly, but I would prefer to display it at 1 icon tall. Thankfully the forecast is still accurate, but I don't like these changes.
2 ★I'm using tmobile note 9 all up to date with updates. There's a weird glitch where when I touch the time, it takes me to app setting instead of the clock (alarm/timer). This happens more than half of the times. When the glitch doesn't happen, touching the time would take me to clock. Everything else works great but I hope you can fix this glitch. Thanks
4 ★First, it looks good on your home screen, and it has options to vary the clock and background to suit your tastes. The weather app is pretty complete, except that it seems to require a cost to get a radar map. For some reason, the widget on the home screen updates better than the actual weather app... hard to get it to update.
3 ★I love this app's widget. It's been on the home screen of my phones for years. Unfortunately... After the latest update, 2020/02, several settings changed. The hourly interval for the widget's forecast has changed to 1 hour intervals instead of 3 hour intervals. There is no way to change that setting in the menus now as far as I can tell. Don't know why the setting was changed, but I'd really like that fixed since I now only have a quick visual on the next 4 hours forecast instead of 12.
