Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Not user friendly go's off on walkabout disappears awol
1 ★Doesn't even have my address
1 ★It can't find my address
5 ★A really great tool and I use it frequently. I have one small issue. The colours used in the calendar to distinguish between green waste bins and recycling bins are a problem because of my red-green colour blindness. It could be easily fixed by using a brighter yellow and a deeper green. Over 2% of the population are red-green colourblind so it would be useful for many people.
1 ★Apparently my street doesn't exist
1 ★The search doesn't show the addresses. Also has limited list that shows that aren't relevant. Unusable
1 ★App used to work. Now it will not. Just shows the blue cover page and then all is white. I've waited for it to possibly "wake up" but no go. As it is it's useless. 29.7.23 Have even updated it with the latest update. Uninstalled and reinstalled.. No change. Very frustrating. For a Council app which SHOULD be useful... this is extremely poor. Can you do no better? It's now 19th November and still no change. Frankly, I feel the Council should be ashamed if this is the best they can provide.
3 ★I used to like this app. Simple and did what I needed with one press. Why? Why does it now open to a menu page? Surely you have analytics on how people were using this app. I'll bet Brisbane to a wheelie bin the overwhelming majority just want to click and see the bin calendar for their street. At least give us an option to choose what section the app opens on by default.
5 ★Hacked
1 ★No longer works. Was working well. No longer shows collection days, doesn't recognise not only my address but my street and suburb. I have uninstalled and re-installed with no luck. When I open the calendar, it goes straight to a list of if addresses but not in my suburb. When the calendar does finally open, it's blank. When I change months on the calendar, it goes back to a random list of street. Totally useless now
