Description
Don’t waste time and effort configuring your mobile device. This widget is as easy and quick as possible to configure and operate. Simply configure a specific time and a timer is added to your home screen. From then on, one single click starts the timer.Add as many timers as you wish for different durations.
I created this widget because the default timer app that came with my phone, and any other timer app for that matter, is too cumbersome to bother with when I just want to start a quick timer and then lose myself in a meditation or stretch.
Because it's easy and fast to use, this timer is good for:
- Meditation
- Stretching
- Games
- Exercises
- For short timer durations in the kitchen, e.g. an egg timer
Configuration allows you to set the duration, in seconds and minutes, and also gives you the option to keep the screen lit up during countdown.
The widget will sound your default alarm sound when the countdown reaches zero.
If the phone becomes locked while counting down, then on completion the widget will show a notification, which can be tapped to cancel the alarm sound.
This timer is best for shorter durations, seconds and minutes, but can be used for durations up to 99 minutes. This timer keeps your phone CPU running, so if you need a duration over 10 or 15 minutes, it might be better to use the native alarm clock/timer functionality on your phone, or download a different one.
