** Overview & IV **
Every monster has hidden stats - the Individual Values (IV). They can be seen in the appraisal of your team leader and determine how strong a monster can get in terms of CP or when fighting other players.
Without needing any setup or any clicks, Calcy IV adds a little overlay while you play the game that perfectly integrates in it and helps you to decide which monster you want to invest stardust and candy in. With this app, you can see the IV range before you even caught the monster. Additionally, you can add several stats like DPS or PvP Ranks to the output that you otherwise would not see in the game.
When you see a good monster, you can tap the overlay to see its full stats, including DPS, the cost to level it up, and many more.

** Trainer Battles / PvP **
Whether you are a PvP veteran or you want to start diving into the battles with other trainers, Calcy helps you finding the right monster for it.
In fights against other players all attacks deal different damage then usually. Calcy calculates the damage per turn accordingly in these fights.
Moreover, due to the CP limit for PvP leagues, the optimal IV for PvP fights are very specific combinations that may be hard to find. Calcy calculates these optimal IV and tells you for every monster how close it is to perfection (the so called "PvP Rank" or "PvP IV").
** Battle Simulation & Raid Counters **
Calcy's battle simulator will calculate the perfect battle team from all of your monsters for every raid. It is accessible by simply scanning a raid boss or pressing the overlay button a bit longer and then tapping the green raid boss symbol.
Calcy not only shows you how to beat the boss but also exactly how much damage you do. This allows you to decide whether you may need 2, 3 or 4 people for this raid. Of course, this calculation takes the different moves, weather and friendship buffs into account.

2 ★This app is perfect for IVs and everything and I love it! I'm rating it low though bc I can confirm now on two phones that have never had this issue and that have different app usage. That as of 5/6/2021 random ad music plays in the background after you try to use any audio source ex. I got off a phone call the app wasn't even open and an ad's audio played in the background this never happened until I downloaded the app. Besides this issue the app exceeds all my expectations
5 ★My favorite companion app for Pokemon Go. Essential for transfering, evolving, and powering up. Info is always dead on and overlay is unobtrusive. Significant battery drain (Pixel 3) but so helpful on community days that I just carry a battery bank with me (no more full storage mid-event). If there's a user manual, I can't find it. Sad because I haven't been able to figure out the more advanced functions.
2 ★I've been using this app for years. Recently the new ads implemented are becoming so annoying I don't want to use it anymore. I'm having to wait and click through multiple ads, that are not skiable. When the skip button eventually appears, I try to click and it just takes me to a download page. Over and over, won't let me use calcy IV, but forcing me onto other pages I don't want. I'm done spending a minute fighting ads every time I want to play Pokémon. Time to try other scanning options.
5 ★It does exactly what it says and more. No account either which is what I was looking for. Everything can be customized. Does it have a few issues? Yes, but it's a complicated piece of software doing complicated things that change frequently and without documentation. It's to be expected. So if you're looking for perfect, flawless software this isn't it, if it even exists. But if you want something that does what CalcyIV says it does then download it.
4 ★Great app for quick iv checks. Has a lot of useful functions but learning how to use them takes a little time. The only issue I have with this app is that for my android device it gets closed a lot when I press the iv button on a catch screen. I've looked into a lot of different solutions but none have worked for me. Still, it's worth the small hassle of reopening it despite it being annoying.
4 ★Really great app. Essential features. About the only nitpick I may have is that the GUI feels cluttered at times. It's like your eyes can't quite figure out where to land. With time you get used to it but it still feels small, tight, & busy, specially so when compared to other apps with similar capabilities. CalcyIV however trumps them all in features & relative ease of use. For me, CalcyIV is essential to the game. Edit: Thanks for the response Tesmath. Your app is pretty awesome.
4 ★Update: Through no help of the devs, Google or any friends, I have found a solution to the app not working properly. It's not very obvious and it is very obvious all at the same time. I revoke my 1 star. When it does work, it works really well and the only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the useless and confusing interface when trouble shooting. I apologize for my previous anger and comment. If anyone is having trouble with the scanning, there is a way to refresh the scan config. Fixed my issue
4 ★ever since latest patch i cannot allow app to screen capture anymore. it refuses to let me hit the OK button. no issue with allowing drawing over apps. just the screen capture is broken. will fix review rating when you fix the app to how it was JUST working less than a week ago. edit: your response is a copy paste of what IV genie says when i have that issue. those settings didnt work, so i reinstalled old Calcy, rebooted handset, updated calcy and now it works.
3 ★Samsung Galaxy S7, Android 8.0 Since the most recent update, scanning a pokemon almost never works. It does not seem to see the CP, HP, or arc, all have to be entered manually. I have tried all troubleshooting steps from the FAQ and subreddit, and even tried reinstalling (ended up having to rescan everyone, and with this issue, took hours). Update: Issue is still not resolved, even after update. It does seem to happen less, especially on my s10. Logs sent to dev.
5 ★If you play POGO and you're serious about having a tool that will save the pointless times wasting seconds on the game, is; screen transitions, catch screen, raid timer, gym timer, than this is something you'll enjoy. No more waiting for or looking at appraise screens. This takes screen shots to determine the stats of A MON and save you the hastle of checking!
5 ★I saw this overlay in some screenshots from other trainers and eventually found this app. I like the look and feel, and easy use. I was surprised how much more it can do when long pressing the button. It was a bit overwhelming at first to figure out what all the menus could do or was for, but after some experimenting I figured out how much more this app has made my Pogo experience better. One thing I'm still looking for is a way to track shinies and what eggs or research gives what.
3 ★Great app, been using for months and love the autoscan feature. However, since the recent update, after about 50 scans it drops performance dramatically. And by dramatically I mean the game drops to 10 fps, and takes calcy 2-3 sec just to scan one pokemon. This was never an issue before but now I can't even go thru and scan an hours worth of catches without having to reset the app multiple times. I'm using an S10 5g, so phone specs can't be the reason. I have reset all scan options, did not fix.
