A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Kept crashing for a while, finally back up and running now and very easy to use. Love it! 👍👍
1 ★I honestly have to say that you should not buy beacons from April brothers because of this app. Constant crashes, no way to change a password of a beacon. terrible
1 ★I can't recommend this as the ap won't connect to the beacon now, and kept crashing the few times it would. Customer support from the seller is really slow too, skip this and look for something better.
1 ★This app significantly reduces the utility of the April Brother beacon products with its poor quality. Until it's repaired, you should buy beacons from another manufacturer who makes a working means of setting their beacons. This app makes it impossible to properly program one of the April Brother beacons in any reasonable amount of time. It crashes quite a lot. When it's not crashing, it tends not to find its own beacons when other beacon apps see them just fine. It often displays a non-existent beacon with UUID all zeroes and MAC all the hex byte "12" instead of a valid received beacon list. When setting a feature of a beacon, it often says it's succeeded but the value on the beacon remains unchanged. Parameters like the password and the transmit interval must only be set in iBeacon mode, not Eddystone. The internationalization is poor. The app asks you to set the beacon password when it means for you to enter the existing beacon password. Some error messages are rendered in Han Chinese characters even when you have the English version of the app. When editing beacon parameters, it sometimes takes a long time to accept an input character.
3 ★It worked wonderfully. Until I set power to -1. After that I can list the beacon but not get or modify settings. Even if the beacon is 1cm away from my phone.
1 ★Wouldn't detect anything until I manually entered the (default) UUID into Whitelist. Then beacon shows up, but does not allow me to modify its settings (gives an error message); There is nowhere in the app to actually check data from AprilBeacon sensors (light, accelerometer, etc.) And I do not see anything that indicates firmware version or how to update... And what do the two buttons/switches (S1 and S2) on the beacon do? I didn't see anything about them in any of the documentation...
2 ★For some unknown reason this app requires an internet connection and craps out when it could not access their server. No error message, no nothing, just "application has just stopped" box and that's it. Occasionally it stops getting BLE scans (while other apps get them just fine) and requires restart, that might or might not cure the problem. While it could set some of the beacon parameters, some others (output power?) does not change no matter what I do. Also, once you have changed the beacon type "iBeacon" <-> "EddyStone" or vice versa, the app remembers the previous beacon type and does not display proper settings for the new beacon type until restarted.
5 ★Working fine👍
1 ★The UI leaves a lot to be desired. Not at all intuitive. However a more serious issue is that it no longer detects my beacons after upgrading to Android 6 (marshmallow). Please fix.
2 ★When I try to view the uuid beacon, it is crashing.
3 ★simple and working app for displaying ibeacon connection, parameters, distance, and power... but problem is i can't modify parameters immediately and automatically (e.g. UUI, major, minor) as stated in its documentation. after resetting ibeacon, the parameters are still the same no change... i'm using Kitkat on LG G2 mini
3 ★how to upgrade firmware..? currently my firmware is 1.3. and what is bluetooth pairing password/pin
