Adjustable Torch is an application that allows you to use the flashlight of your device as a torch, at different brightness levels.

Tested and/or reported compatible with:
* Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500, GT-I9505, SGH-l337, SCH-I545)
* Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100, SGH-I317)
* Samsung Galaxy SIII (GT-I9300)

The app will check compatibility when it starts, if it's not compatible it will give you an option to uninstall it. Please do not give low ratings if your device is incompatible, it's out of my hands.

Permissions:
Internet: ads, these can be disabled with the Action Menu.
Boot complete: resets the saved value of the flashlight brightness as this can't be read from the system.
Superuser: write to sysfs file /sys/class/camera/flash/rear_flash

3 ★Why does it need root? Google Translater can dimm my light without root while image translation. And if I turn the Light brighter it's random of it really gets brighter often the Light gets even more dimmed. So this app is useless for me sorry :/

5 ★The developer needs to get donations. Let's face it sending him a 5 dollars isn't a big deal for us adults with jobs. This app only needs lower brightness values. But even without that this app is incredible.

1 ★When I open the app, it asks for superuser permission so I grant it. But then it says a message saying I am not rooted and only let's me close the app. I restarted the app and it still said the same message so I took off root access for the app and reenabled it and same thing. Useless if it won't start. Other root apps work fine.

5 ★Though it's not working on my Xperia ZR, but this is a great thing. There might be some way to change 🔅 of flash since while taking photos the flash lights up with double brightness.

5 ★This is one of a kind. Dont know why this took so long for someone to make but you did great. Feature request: some way to use volume buttons to adjust brightness. Would also like to be able to hold volume up while screen is off to turn on the light, then volume up and down to adjust brightness.

3 ★It's working when I slide it from left to middle it increase the brightness, but when I slide it again up to end (right) it decreases its brightness! Why? Pls fix this and I will rate it 5 star pls pls thank you btw my device is Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (SM-G530H) this is the reason why I rooted my phone, because I Love flashlight hahaha pls be sure to fix this. I owe you one guys 😊

3 ★Used to work but now tells me I need root (yes, I have root, and granted it) also, this app doesn't even need root to run anymore, that "quit" dialog is very annoying, please fix.

1 ★I had to wait at least one star to comment on this it does not work on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 cell phone on me if I don't know how to install it properly just look it up online what kind of a setup at that supposed to help you on guide you through
