Keep Calm and Carry On was a motivational poster created by the British government in 1939 in preparation for the Second World War. The posters were used to gather the attention of the British people, who are threatened with the predicted mass air strikes took place in the cities of BESA.Although 2:45 million copies printed, and although the Blitz in fact take place, the poster hard to come among the people, and little was known until a copy was rediscovered in 2000 in Barter Books, a bookshop in Alnwick.
