Columbus, Christopher was a great explorer and had a few sea voyages to the Americas, after discovering and naming the new continent.This discovery was very important for mankind, it was a totally new world, filled with indians, many of which have never seen a ship, or other humans. Columbus Day, or Discovery Day as it is known in the Bahamas, is an official holiday in the whole American continent.
Columbus Day is the anniversary of Christopher Columbus' arrival by ship in the Americas, on October 12 1492.
Christopher Columbus will forever be remembered for these ship voyages and for his giant discovery.
In Italy, or Spain, Columbus day is celebrated, under different names.
In his honor, we have created this amazing app, with a ship in the background about to make a nice discovery.
