Keep track of the planets with this home screen widget. Use the altitudes and azimuths to find a planet in the sky, or identify a planet in the sky. Astronomical calculations are based on software described in the book "Practical Astronomy with your Calculator or Spreadsheet" by Peter Buffett-Smith and Jonathan Zwart.- Altitude and azimuth are given for each planet for your local area
- Altitude is the angle, in degrees, of the planet above the horizon
- Azimuth is the clockwise angle from north, in degrees, of the planet
- Requires a device with a navigation satellite sensor
- Enable satellite tracking in Settings before starting
