Since the Degree of B.Tech will be awarded only to the students with an overall C.P.I of 5 or above, So it is a preliminary requirement to maintain a C.P.I above 5.
C.P.I which stands for Cumulative Performance Index of a student is calculated at the end of each semester including S.P.I (Semester Performance Index) based on the Grades and their numerical equivalents. C.P.I indicates the overall academic performance of a student.
Moreover, Our college insists on maintaining a minimum C.P.I of 6.5 which many companies set as Lower-Limit to sit in an interview during Campus Placements.
