Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

5 ★This app clearly showed the 400hz whine on my neighbor's annoying HVAC system. It was impossible to isolate on other apps.
4 ★Keep in mind this is limited by your phones or tablets microphone. Most can cover pretty high up (20khz) but most (if any) can't do it the low end frequencies. I can't seem to find solid info on the lower end for the galaxy s5 but I'm pretty sure it doesn't go down to 50hz
5 ★I was trying to explain to my daughter the difference between different sounds. 10 seconds on Google play and this thing is showing her the difference with a wiggly line. She played with it for 20 minutes and learned way more than me droning on (at 800 Hz, apparently). Next time she has a temper tantrum, I'm going to fire it up and measure her screaming.
5 ★Extremely handy when mixing live bands through a PA. You can tune out feedback and rumble with the graphic equalisers after using this app to see which frequencies are causing the problems. 5 star+.
4 ★This is a very well made app. Simple, good-looking (which is more rare than one might think) and easy to use. It would be nice if it had just a couple more bells and whistles like the ability to touch the screen to get the specific frequency of a wave peak or trough. The description of the paid version didn't seem to indicate that it had this function. This is why I didn't give it 5 stars. Other than that, this app is nearly perfect.
3 ★Please add features such as the ability to isolate a prominent frequency and determine a numeric value for said frequency. For example a vibration causes an approximate 4 kHz noise, it would be helpful if I knew if it was 3.8 or 4.2 kHz
5 ★Amazing app, use it all the time for live sound engineering. All of the bad reviewers seem to be unlucky with their hardware or a bit dim...
4 ★Love the app, would be nice if we could calibrate the mic and options to slow down the readings, peak markers and x axis. If it does, I don't mind paying for it. Good app, almost perfect.
4 ★It seems that the readings show some kind of aliasing at higher frequencies, above 15kHz, it always showing high level at those frequencies whatever the input is. Overall, the app's quite accurate. FYI, I'm using ASUS Zen 6.
4 ★It pretty basic, but works on Marshmallow. You may have to reinstall if you get the message "Unfortunately ... has stopped" at startup.
5 ★I would love to see more features, would definitely pay money for the ability to zoom in on frequency ranges for more accuracy, and the inclusion of a curve tracing capability so you can analyse the response of a room from a played frequency sweep. Calibration options would also be useful for different phones. Overall a very responsive and accurate application. Love it.
4 ★Please add decibel meter and settings button for change of colors or graph style. Slight delay but works great. Especially when free
