Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★And beeminder integration is great. Unfortunately doesn't fire in doze mode even if whitelisted.
5 ★
4 ★From all the apps I've searched though this is the only one with random sampling. I'd love to see some sort of syncing to a web interface and the ability to tag multiple times at once for when working on something for a long time. Fantastic, uniquely developed app. Hopefully it gets some love from it's developers.
4 ★Main feature requests: 1. Non-black notification icon 2. Tag multiple pings at once 3. Adjustable average ping frequency
4 ★Good idea!
5 ★I wanted an app that pings me every hour to record what I'm doing. TagTime is even better because it takes samples at random times. It is quite easy to use once you understand how to create tags, and it conveniently dumps the results into a file you can import into a spreadsheet or other tool for analysis. The UI could use polish, and it would be nice to have options for how often to take samples. Also, and intro screen would help, as I was at first lost. Overall, works better than expected.
3 ★I want to love this app, I really do. There are two reasons why I just can't. The first and most annoying is that it auto-labels many pings as OFF without actually notifying me. The phone is literally sitting right next to me, turned on, but it still labeled 3 of the last 4 pings as OFF. The second is that there is no way to get statistics without tying it to a specific goal with monetary consequences in Beeminder. I need a baseline before I can set goals!
5 ★But only if you have a use for the information. I downloaded it on a whim without any real use for it and was just annoyed by the constant notifications. But if I wanted to track how I spent my time this would be my go to app.
3 ★Nicolas, if you like the idea of this try using "PACO" its a cool app, but still in closed beta. Its solid if you can get in.
4 ★No pings notifications... Occasionally they happen, but not every time.
4 ★Not perfect, but good enough, and clearly better than the aternatives.
5 ★Increased my productivity and insight a lot!
