A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★This is the worst app in the world. Cambridge you let yourselves down. Having a fabulous streamer in the np30 and having a dog's breakfast like this app. Shame shame shame
1 ★I am using with a Minx Xi. Unless the unit is in exactly the same state as when the app was last used it will crash. For example, should you browse and play from a uPnP device, then turn the unit off or use the remote to play something else, the app will crash when next used. It will then attempt to cycle back to the root menu, crashing each and every time. For this app to be associated with quality Cambridge Audio products can't be good for keeping brand loyalty. This is the same on two android devices.
1 ★I was so frustrated with this app that I was about to return my stream magic hw to the store. The only thing that saved it was that I found out the stream magic can be used with the bubbleupnp app, a much better and much more stable app...
1 ★Everything about my Minx xi is brilliant, and then there's this... Only downloaded onto my MotoG 30mins ago and has crashed 5 times. Is anyone working on sorting it out or have Cambridge Audio abandoned the app? At present it simply isn't fit for purpose and should never have been released for use.
2 ★It's almost impossible to use software on nexus 7... I expected a bit higher quality for the device with price over 1.2k
1 ★I bought the Stream magic V2 and intended to control it with my iPad. Couldn't do that as the iOS app would not run on my old Pad. Tried this app with my phone, but it frequently wouldn't find the Stream Magic and would never find the music stored on my NAS. The Stream magic will have to go back, which is a terrible pity as it otherwise looks a good product, but if you can't easily get at the music then its no good.
2 ★Plain doesn't work. Cambridge, you need to take this seriously. This app plain sucks. It isn't my network and it sucks on two different brands of high-quality phones.
5 ★Has its quirks...sure does, and you have to know that going into it. Cambridge Audio is working out the bugs and as of late, the customer service communication has been very good. The unit is amazing and plays wonderfully and once you have entered a dozen or 2 CD's into the queue you can walk away and just enjoy hours upon hours of music. My last review was not favorable, but in recent dealings with Ed Selly of Cambridge Audio, I have a total new respect for the company and wouldn't trade my SM6 for anything! When Cambridge gets the Android app issues all up to snuff, this will be one hard product to contend with. Actually, it already is!!
1 ★Works ok for a few minutes then the screen you were expecting next doesn't appear. For instance i was browsing through my albums. Pressed an album and it went back to the album artist folder screen. Also you get a blank screen and your phone freezes if you lock your phone then try to get back in with this running. Truly awful coding
1 ★This app is really useful when it works, but that is only about 50 percent of the time. It often does not find my Stream Magic 6 and I have to resort to the remote, but the display is so hopelessly small on the SM6 I need to go up to it to read it. All in all not impressive. I might as well get up and put a CD on!! its a shame. The SM6 is a great piece of kit but if the app is important then buy something else. I wish I had now!
2 ★Update - lots of bugs - new lite beta seems better. Hope they will get this done, could spoil experience of an otherwise great device
1 ★The Stream Magic 6 is a great bit of hardware and sounds fantastic but it's not easily controllable from the remote or front panel so the app is vital. I'm running both the IOS and Android versions and they are both truly shocking. No support for Spotify, Deezer etc, app crashing, loses network, folder display, album, song handling all very amateurish compared to, well, anything else. Really poor software writing letting down an otherwise excellent product. Despite complaining to CA for two years, no improvements seen ;-(
