Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Completely useless app!!!!!! Minx 100 really good stuff.
2 ★Now it's on the cusp of 2017 and the app is not working or VERY slow. Apparently it's been rubbish for 2 odd years. Come on Cambridge pull your your bloody finger out.
1 ★So poor. Takes forever to find. Speaker is top quality but app totally ruins that experience
1 ★Presets get hopelessly confused between the app and the hardware buttons. (Sometimes some presets get wiped in the app. Sometimes presets in the app that haven't been wiped no longer work in the app but the hardware buttons still work). Sometimes station search just hangs. Sometimes locations don't load for browsing. On further testing it seems that most problems in my case were caused by either the app, speaker or combination thereof reacting badly to a particular preset (If it helps your own testing one was "Lugna favoriter" in Sweden). When the app hits a dodgy preset all remaining presets are not displayed or old/default presets are displayed. It is also this that affects the search/browse. So the app is struggling with something behind the scenes but there is no error message to say that. Restarting/reinstalling the app doesn't get rid of the problem. I can only fix this by resetting the speaker (so could the speaker firmware also be partly at fault?). Finally, given how fragile the presets are it is annoying that with a long press you can change a preset to the now playing station. As it is now I must keep the app hidden from my family so that nobody changes anything!
3 ★The app is crap, but just about does the job. Set it up on iPhone and now my Android TV, so i can control my Minx from my TV remote. Still, update this app you tight gits!
1 ★Agree with other comments.. only started reading them as i have been waiting for the app to connect... maybe if i switch everything off and on again? Can't work out why the app has to search for devices on start up...
1 ★It just seems to search for devices and never finds it. Please fix this as if would be awesome could learn a lot from tune in radio
1 ★Just rubbish, no more needed to say other than come on Cambridge Audio you need to sort this out to compete
1 ★Speaker is awesome and the technology is there for an incredible mobile internet user experience. Unfortunately the only thing incredible is how poor this app is.
1 ★App is painful.
2 ★Nearly the worst app ever. The only reason this has two stars is because I've used the sister app called Air. That app crashes even more, and has even more bugs.
1 ★Can't connect to the device unless I type in the IP address manually and even then it struggles immensely. Sonos never looked so tempting...
