This application will help you to install XPrivacy, the ultimate, yet easy to use, privacy manager.
✦ ✦ ✦ Root required ✦ ✦ ✦
If you don't have the Xposed framework installed already, the installer will help you to install this framework, since it is required to run XPrivacy.
Android 5.x Lollipop devices: you will need to install Xposed for Lollipop manually See here for installation instructions: https://github.com/M66B/XPrivacy#installation

XPrivacy can prevent applications from leaking privacy sensitive data by restricting the categories of data an application can access. XPrivacy feeds applications fake data or no data at all. It can restrict several data categories, such as contacts or location. For example, if you restrict an application's access to contacts, that application will receive an empty contacts list. Similarly, restricting an application's access to your location will send a fake location to that application.
XPrivacy doesn't revoke or block permissions from an application, so most applications will continue to work as before and won't force close (crash).

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★I have do complete root but this app requires Xposed to work, and not once does it say that in the description that you need Xposed to use it. The thing is that I can't install Xposed Unclear requirements listed and a waste of my time.
5 ★you guys can call me paranoid. iwas going to change my phone from Android to Iphone unwillingly since it has a better security and privacy, but this app made me change my mind and stay with Android. iam not fan of Iphone though. with this piece of art app i can have 100% control over my apps. thank you dev from making our lives easy. By the way i dont get it why some people give 1 star is this how you appreciate someone when your privacy is his major concern and priority this app deserves more than 5 stars
5 ★Currently nothing rivals this security app, but beyond that an ingenious licensing system. I hope other devs will not be lazy and follow Marcels footsteps.
5 ★EDIT: things have changed quite a bit since I last wrote. Dev continues to actively address issues. I now recommend this indispensable tool! This should be built into the Android OS! (previous review) Bills itself as a privacy app, then steals device ID data. That's a bug, not a feature. 5 stars, except for that. Violating your privacy kinda defeats the purpose, don'tcha think? It's like saying "I'll protect you from everyone but me." The entire "identity" category is greyed out for the xprivacy app. IMEI, advertising ID, and device serial are not necessary for software licensing, and saying otherwise is a poor excuse. Until this is fixed, it's hard to endorse.
5 ★It has a steep learning curve, and you may find you have to reset an apps settings a few times before you settle on the ideal permissions. Nonetheless much needed mobile functionality and permission control at an app level.
1 ★This awesome app is in google make me doubt about "Privacy", tho i download the xprivacy app from xposed installer module directly and is not recognice by goolge market.. Weird.. Rather stay with the xprivacy app from xposed site.
1 ★Come on I want to gain my privacy back. Actually I want the last version of Android. Your comment is dumb. I'v been waiting for 8 months and your program flat out says you have not programed it to work on my device. So it will stay at a one star.
5 ★Love that it restricts information to apps that have no business gaining access to data and functions such as call logs, location or being able to record audio or video without my knowledge. Thank you for your dedication and vigilance.
4 ★I just started using this app even though I've always known how intrusive apps can be, even when they're from the Play Store. So far, I'm still tweaking my settings & while it's a bit complicated, the app does its best to make privacy management easy enough for your average person. Anyway, I was alarmed after seeing all my apps' unnecessary permissions, but this helps put my mind at ease. However, I've noticed that boot-up is now a bit slow & my phone even powered off on its own several times.
5 ★I've been using this for about 48 hours now, it is truly the most useful Xposed module out there. Although I wouldn't recommend using this if you don't know what you're doing, as it is pretty advanced.
5 ★INSTALLER: Excellent design and implementation to help user install this somewhat complicated system. XPRIVACY: Very powerful, steep learning curve, but the *only* *functional* way to handle Android's fundamentally flawed permissions system.
