Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★It does something, but not fully functional. Cannot edit the waypoints radio frequencies, can edit them only on the radio. I assumed that this app reduces or eliminates the need of waypoint edit on the radio. It appears made for the year 2000 or 2005 technologies. Will install this on a tablet to see if I can edit the radio frequencies
2 ★Spent few more hours to try not to hate this radio and the app. It is an incomplete app. It will not allow you to load GPX or FPL files from other apps. It will not allow you to add frequencies to your waypoints as I hoped. Without the app the radio is almost like a regular air and radio but much heavier. I wish they let the app and the code open to public so someone would continue the project, it was a great project idea
1 ★At first I thought the gps capability of the icom a25n radio would be great. But then I find it has no waypoints. So this app to the rescue. It says it can import waypoint data and send it to the radio, but I have exported from two different sites and all it says is data has to be in skyvector gpx format (note: one of the two sites I used was skyvector). So the gps is useless. And without gps, the radio is no better than Sporty's SP-400 which is $220 cheaper. So I guess the radio gets returned and the useless app gets deleted.
2 ★I bought the A25NE thinking this would be great but the whole thing just feels like its been about 50% developed. Like someone got bored and just said "yeah put it on the market". No aviation database - Ok i can work with this. Clunky user interfaces with radio and app - ok can still work with this. But the map is ported over off google maps... No aviation charts, not even a search function on the map or the satellite image option. Of all things at least get the satellite image overlay from Google maps. Atleast then you can visually find an ALA or other unmarked location and then manually make a waypoint on it. Trust me this is a generous two stars. Bloody poor effort all round.
1 ★it doesn't work, there is no help anywhere, it won't load, save data, won't load or save waypoints or flight plans. Needs a lot of work.
3 ★disclaimer, i don't own the radio a25n yet, but the reviews don't make it sound as awesome as this radio and app should be.
