It emulates the a second statusbar. You can pull it down from a set space in your statusbar.

How to install MAPPZ Quick Settings APK on Android phone or tablet?

4 ★Other apps are nowhere as beautiful. This one looks great and works well most of the time. The "long press" is a great concept. A few minor problems; the date it displays under the notification is wrong, the text on toggles is uneven, the "long press" doesn't work for data and instead closes MAPPZ.

3 ★In my pursuit to make touchwiz as close to aosp look and feel as possible this app was the icing on the cake. I went ahead and bought the pro version immediately and I'm glad you I did. However it still needs some optimization as it isn't as fluid when opening and closing the quick settings window as stock aosp. Get it working a bit more fluid and I'll give 5 stars keep up the good work devs
5 ★I've been searching for days for a good quick settings app to get closer to an aosp feel, and this app hits it out of the park! Thank you so much! I think a status bar mod (full status bar takeover, as in showing notifications like a status bar should) would be an incredible feat. Thanks again!
4 ★By far the best working app I've used like this. My only complaint is that the task killer function needs to white list itself. Kills itself and I have to use the icon to reopen. Other than that it's perfect :D
4 ★Very functional, wish you could make the vertical trigger area larger. Also the UI is extremely sluggish. Other than that this is a fantastic app exactly what I was looking for. Will be purchasing after trying some more.
2 ★Recently having a problem with my screen becoming unresponsive, need to open then close the app for the screen to work. Frustrating!!!
3 ★I needed an app that I could toggle on a flashlight without unlocking my phone, this app does this and so much more! Nags for rating, dropped one star. Toggles rearrange and disappear by themselves and a few of the toggles don't turn blue when activated they just dim, dropped an additional star.
4 ★By far the best quick settings app on Google Play in terms of customisability. I have also been testing this app on KitKat, and I have had no problems with the torch, however I have had problems with the brightness toggle. Improvements I would make:- More toggles, including root toggles (e.g. reboot phone etc); the ability to enable or disable quick settings in the app (currently the only method is to turn off start on boot and restart phone).
4 ★I'm using this app for kit Kat to configure the quick access, it's a nice alternative to CyanogenMod. The only badk thing is not enough toggles, for example, the 2G/3G is missing. I recommend this app, actually I paid for the license.
