Description

My phone started dying on me when the battery was around 20%. This means that, in most cases, I didn't even get to see the low battery warning.

When my phone was able to show it, I knew that the battery was only going to last a couple minutes. So, the original warning was completely useless.

I tried re-calibrating the battery, clearing the cache, and installing a new ROM. None of this worked.

That's when I decided to develop this workaround.
I hope you guys like it and find it useful :)

If you have any feature you would like to see on this app, just let me know by email.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★It does nothing
1 ★Don't work on a8
1 ★Lack of info
5 ★Does exactly what it says it will do. I received a pop up notification with a brief tone. The notification stays at the top of my phone asking me to plug in a charger when I can which I love because if the tone goes off and I'm away from my phone, the reminder is still there. Very simple app for my Samsung Galaxy S7. Exactly what I was looking for.
3 ★Does what it says it does: creates an alert for low battery. The only things I'd like to see it do better are 1) give some settings options for how the alert will go off (vibrate, sounds, etc). 2) Maybe allow for more than one alert to be set 3) Make it a program that can run in the background. It has to be open (and thus consuming extra battery) in order to give you the alert.
2 ★There is only one setting in the app. For me this is useless. I need something that I can set to remind me at 15, 10 and 5%
4 ★Very useful. I like being able to set any limit between 0-100. Wish thelimit was always visible in the app window, now the number only appearswhile moving the slider.
5 ★Exactly what I needed. Unbelievable that my HTC One doesn't have a low battery warning. This one fits the bill.
5 ★Works perfectly. Does what it is supposed to do very well.
1 ★Settings? Options? Configurations? There is one. The phone alone told me when I am at 15% and 5%. A nag me option is a must for a useful app, an interval notification would be useful, a personalized icon would be useful. This app has nothing. One star is too much.
5 ★Having a warning at 1% save my life
5 ★Can there be an option to have 2? Better more, an option to have your own sound?
