KLearn is a simple and intuitive application focused on automating the communication process between the school teachers and parents. It brings together the school management and teachers, parents and students on one platform to bring transparency in the entire system related to a child’s activity at school and at home. Also, there are enhanced child safety measures through bus tracking. The aim is to not only enrich the learning experience of the students, but also enrich the lives of parents and teachers.Enhanced Features:
Automated attendance: A two phase automated attendance which starts as soon as the child boards the school bus. Teachers and parents receive real time notifications regarding a child’s presence. The parents are relieved while for teachers the manual task of taking attendance is removed and maintaining attendance history becomes so easy.
Student Diary: Teachers can update homework through the app student diary which can be text or image attached . Teachers can set the deadline and regularly check who all have not viewed, viewed, not completed and completed the homework. Parents receive notifications regarding the same. The students have an option to discuss their individual queries and doubts through the chat feature regarding a particular assignment. Also any other important information can be shared through student diary!!
Gallery: Teachers can send images of the events which took place in school along with event date and description. Parents will receive notifications about the same. Also parents can download images received and save it in their phone storage!! In addition, teacher, delete the uploaded gallery whenever needed.
Circulars : School Admin can now send circulars through app which can be viewed by parents if it is a text message , downloaded if it is an image or PDF. Also the admin can send a circular to a particular parent regarding fees or uniform distribution or any important private message about their child at school!!
Van Tracking : Here the parent will be able to view the child travel from school to home and vice versa. Map will be displaying every movement of the van in real time!! Also notifications will reach parents regarding driver details and arrival of the van at their stop.
Apart from the above mentioned features, complete information about student’s contact information along with the student image, address would be made accessible to teachers in case any need arises.
