4 ★Love all the data! I do feel that if you are going to record/provide certain data (i.e. sleep data) you need to provide the summary behind it for free. Otherwise, it doesn't really mean anything to the consumer. It's kind of annoying to have disappointing to have data recorded that you can't see an explanation for. It's a package deal. Don't bother recording it if you're not going to give the explanation behind it. Other than that, this app is awesome!
1 ★Update: Now Nov. Still not impresses. Still tracking issues and now having to charge every other day. Not a fan. Clearly does not track steps correctly. To be honest roughly 2000 short on a daily basis. Tech support is severly lacking. 2 weeks to respond with the same response as a previous msg to address the same issue. Does not accurately track sleep either. I had high hopes. Still hoping to see improvement.
5 ★11-19-23 UPDATE: Still a great tool to track sleep patterns and walking miles! I upgraded to the 7 and the bigger screen is really nice. 10-26-21 Update after several months of use. I'm impressed! It always does a great job of tracking WHEN I go to sleep and when I wake up. I like the charts it makes, it has a profuse set of options. It won't replace my smartwatch but it seems it will do a good job of tracking my workouts and health!
4 ★Good to view progress. When operating properly very useful. However, lousy user intuitive setup!! Two issues need some severe correction and review with this app and watches that it enables. Issue number one and the most frustrating issue is lack of clear and concise DIRECTIONS FOR USAGE. Especially to a new user! Issue number two is CONNECTION! Connection is too intermittent and drops out too frequently.
2 ★Consistently adding "new features" that are being sold as subscriptions and take up space everywhere in the app. Most every screen in the app has some thing you can click on that looks like extra functionality, but then immediately takes you to a "subscribe for a trial" or straight up "oh just $10 a month and this thing you thought you'dget you'llactually get". This app is half sales platform and it's been getting worse in the 6 months I've had it.
3 ★Device rarely remains synced/paired with phone. Example, today I did a 3.5 mile hike and it recorded it as 5.5. None of my other devices have this issue. It's moderately accurate if I am biking, but not always. And no, it is not an issue with my phone. I have reported the issue before and the response was to "make sure the devices are paired." Well no duh! Also, no help.
3 ★For some reason about two weeks ago, the notifications box on my Android suddenly got stuck in a loop, asking for permissions that it already has. So now to see any of my data for the day, I have to forbid notifications and open from the apps menu, rather than just tapping on the notifications box. Surely I can't be the only one who is now dealing with this and it hasn't been fixed yet?
2 ★There are issues. The data is hit or miss. With the watch perfectly on. I go to sleep at 9pm and then wake at 12.. sleep again until 5am.. the data says I didn't go to sleep until 11pm. The battery life is laughable 30hrs. I have to charge battery so much that it is almost unusable. The slightest unintentional movement makes the light come on so bright... yet when I want it to light up, I have to tap 3 or 4 times to get it to light up. The app is limited, tries to upsell you.
1 ★Terrible app for a great watch which handicaps the watch. The watch NEVER stays connected to bluetooth, which defeats the purpose of having apps & the ability to see & answer calls. It has gotten worse. It may stay connected for two hours but always disconnects even though I have all the requirements on to keep it connected. Sleep tracking is awful because it goes by movement, so if you go to sleep & get up to go to the bathroom three hours later, that is you sleep for the night.
3 ★Connection is unreliable, yet Notify for Amazfit can connect when Zepp can't, so it isn't the hardware. I can lose data if it won't connect for several days and battery goes dead. Can't fix sleep stats manually. It looks attractive and the ability to customize is good, but I wish I had more control over menu order. It would also be nice if you could import data from previous phones - I upgraded phones and had to wait a week until it would resync and also change time zones!!!
3 ★I like the watch and features except the "Sleep Data". It is totally inaccurate. It records nightly bathroom trips as long sessions and doesn't recognize when I return to the bed and fall back asleep. The data sometimes shows I slept as little as 4-5 hours, when I really slept over 7 hours (confirmed by CPAP machine). If Zepp could correct the sleep issues, I would probably give the app a 10.
3 ★I wore this watch regularly and it never felt like I was getting accurate readings for steps or for sleep, but it got my messages and texts through so I didn't mind. After a long hiatus, I'm wearing it again but none of my notifications come through to the watch anymore. I understand it's an "old" device now and that it was only $60, but the features shouldn't stop working. After troubleshooting and resetting, to no help, a different brand device is in the mail for me.
