החל מגרסת אנדרויאיד 4.0 (קסטה) הוגבלה הגישה לניהול ושינוי הגדרות APN על ידי יישום משתמש.
על מנת לתת ליישום זה גישה להגדרות אלה יש צורך להפוך אותו ליישם מערכת, דבר זה אפשרי רק בתנאי שלמכשירך יש הרשאות רוט (ROOT).
* במידת הצורך היישום יבצע פעולה זו באופן עצמאי (באישור המשתמש).
* אם בעתיד תהיו מעוניינים להסיר את היישום ממחיצת יישומי המערכת כל מה שעליכם לעשות זה ללחוץ על מקש התפריט (פיזי) ולבחור באופציית ה"הסרה" (אופציה זו תופיעה רק אם היישום מותקן על מחיצת יישומי המערכת).
