Download the City Cabs Edinburgh App and start booking, tracking and paying for your taxis with just a few clicks.
Our simple user friendly app allows you to:

1 ★We'll never use this company again, booked a taxi to and from a restaurant in Queensferry for my parents in their 70s 7 hours in advance. Dropped us off on time but tag me when the return taxi was past due to say they couldn't send us a taxi. They only had 7 hours to arrange one, left two septaganareans stranded and plenty of excuses but no taxi. Used to use this firm for all my airport runs - never again

3 ★Worked excellent but last update won't let me log in!

1 ★Used to use City Cabs all the time for work - paying using card in the app was great as receipts are emailed. As others noted already the most recent Android upgrade has broken the secure connection rendering the app useless to me, which is a real shame. Update 18/05/2017 - City Cabs app still broken for in-app card payments - however, have switched to Central Taxis which uses the same base app (cordic), and it works perfectly. Shame, City Cabs lose out due to abject lack of customer engagement to fix the problem.

3 ★Used to work well, but now shows the secure connection error if I try to pay with credit card. Cash booking still works, but it takes away much of the convenience of using it to book, pay and get an e-receipt. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

3 ★Not working now. Real shame as it is really handy app that I use all the time. Hopefully you can sort the connection error I now get. Have uninstalled and reinstalled but get same result. Will go back to 5 stars once problem rectified.

1 ★It used to work. Now it shows a connection error always.

2 ★Buggy map user interface sends taxi to the wrong place. The location is taken from the centre of the location pin rather than the bottom of the pin like it should be. This means if you put the pin on your current location (or the street outside where you want to be picked up) the app will instead call a taxi to a location a street or two further North! (You can see that if you zoom out and press the compass icon, the pin covers your actual location and the point of the pin is in the wrong place). After calling for the taxi there's no way to edit the location to fix this problem (though it does provide a link to call the taxi dispatcher directly). It's not even clear whether the taxi drivers get your precise GPS location, or whether they just get the closest street address based on where the app thinks you are? Either way it's not really acceptable to send drivers to the wrong location, and other hailing apps don't have this problem.

1 ★No longer working. Booking agent not acknowledging issue. Will user other cab company with app that works.

5 ★I use this app whenever I need a taxi. Especially useful during busy times in Edinburgh eg the Festival and rugby international weekends and no price surging either.

2 ★Used to work perfectly on my phone, but not since the update. It keeps searching for the GPS address, despite me choosing from my 'Favourites'.
