A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★The app shows all of the presentations in a clear way and had a schedule organizer so you can easily organize which presentations you want to go see. I thought it was very helpful. I agree there permissions are a little intrusive. Not sure why you need to give it permission to your phone calls.
1 ★This app is absolutely terrible! I click the button for floor plan and it just opens a link in chrome to download a pdf!! Why did i need the app for that?
1 ★The app wants to receive and make phone calls on my behalf? And I need to grant it permission to access my photos? No thanks.
1 ★Terrible. This app won't do anything unless you grant it all permissions, and those permissions are intrusive.
1 ★It should not be necessary to give a scientific conference app these kinds of permissions. Will not be using it.
1 ★why do you need permissions to manage my phone calls, my photos etc. ?
1 ★Why does it need the permissions it does? It's intrusive and I refuse to use it
2 ★Why need access to phone id and calls? Otherwise works
2 ★Spontaneously logged me out and won't let me log back in. When I go to the no login option, it does not remember what I had already stored on my phone. Not happy. Since we don't get big paper programs anymore, this is the best way to look up talks period that it's not working is unacceptable.
1 ★Each March Meeting, I install this app with disgust due to the number of unnecessary permissions it requires. Sadly, this year I learned that it is not afraid to use them! Upon installing, and *without* asking for further permission, this app synced my entire March Meeting schedule to a *shared* calendar I can access on my device, and it *set an alarm* five minutes before each talk I plan to attend, for everybody in my shared calendar. Can you imagine this alarm going off several times per day for several people I know? Even after unchecking "sync schedule with device calendar" in the app, I was still forced to remove tens of events from my shared calendar for the week. Even then, the app provides no option to sync to a calendar other than the one it arbitrarily decided to sync with. Because this app is proprietary, I am unable to fix these issues, or be warned of them before trying it. APS, please commission a new app, and please ensure that it be open source so that users can fix such egregious issues with it!
2 ★Definitely worse than last year. You can't get to a session from the details page for a talk! So if I'm in my schedule, I have to memorize what session it is, go back, click on agenda, then scroll to the session, and click on it to see what other talks are in that session. This should be a single click from the talk details page. Additionally, people are missing from both the presenter list and attendee list and the floor plan buttons are just links to download pdfs.
1 ★absolute garbage. just directs you to their website...
