force-lock: This feature is required to force lock the device from SeekDroid.com or via Text Message.
reset-password: This feature is required to reset the lock screen on the device from SeekDroid.com or via Text Message.
wipe-data: This feature is required to completely erase or wipe the device from SeekDroid.com or via Text Message. This feature should only be preformed as a last method of defense for your data as when the device reboots it will be in a brand new, factory - reset, state. This means all of your data (including this app) will be erased. Don't worry though, as enabling the permission only allows the function to be "armed" so that you can preform the wipe if you need to from SeekDroid.com.
SeekDroid is a service that allows you to track and secure your device from anywhere.
After initial configuration you will be able to use SeekDroid at SeekDroid.com from any internet connected device.
Once you login to SeekDroid on the web you will be able to track your device, sound an alarm with a custom message (even if it is on silent), set a new device password while immediately locking the device, and even wipe or fully removing the contents of the device as a last resort.

Download SeekDroid: Find My Phone APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings

- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

1 ★When it works, it is awesome. When you have problems, you might as well give up. SeekDroid does not respond to individual emails nor do they provide a phone number. I have a billing issue and I can't get it straightened out no matter how many links to help articles their automated system points me towards. I am being charged for the service but can't use it since it says I am over quota (3 devices on a 5 device plan).
2 ★When I entered a password of 8 characters it replied with a message containing 2 errors. It spelled the word please as plase and said my password must be at least 4 characters when I just entered 8 characters. This makes me wonder how many other bugs the program may have. Sorry for the poor review. To remove this app go to settings>administrators>uncheck seekdroid then you will be able to delete the app.
5 ★Would have spent the whole night worrying if this great little app hadn't reassured me that my phone was somewhere around my home. Next day I found it in the car under a seat. Worked great for me!
1 ★Installed this but did not get results I wanted. Then tried to uninstall the app and it won't go away. Even Tried restarting my phone. Nothing. Do not recommend. Finally had to go through 5 different steps to deactive and now its gone. Painful.
3 ★3 phones and all of them now say that Seekdroid is not set up yet. Followed their site instructions , even uninstaled and reinstalled. Still no go.
1 ★WARNING. MAJOR ISSUE WITH ENCRYPTED PHONES. I previously installed SeekDroid on my phone and it worked fine. I subsequently encrypted the phone and then tested to see how the lock and unlock function in SeekDroid worked in combination with the phone's encryption. When I attempted to unlock the phone with SeekDroid, it did not work and the phone no longer recognized my encryption password either. I'm in the process of trying to regain access to the phone with the tech support of my carrier. I have a MotoX phone. Update: I was never able to regain access to the phone and I had to replace it.
2 ★Hasn't been updated with useful features in years. Where is the feature to take a picture? Used to recommend but no longer. Look up Cerberus app instead.
5 ★Those finding trouble uninstalling need only go to the website and RTFM it's not hard. I had to do a total wipe on my phone for other reasons, and the uninstall and reinstall of Seekdroid required worked perfectly, - just follow the instructions. This app works - it's simple it does everything needed, and hard for the crooks to disable, and that's the free version! It's saved my sanity on a few occasions now. Reccomended
5 ★I have had this app for a few years now. I pay to have it on three different devices in my home which is like $4 bucks a month. It's helped me get my phone back when it was stolen and it helps me keep an eye on where my child is. It's supposed to be hard to uninstall because if it gets stolen you want the thieves not to be able to uninstall it. It notifies you if they change the sim card...you can lock it, wipe it, have your phone emit an alarm, display a message, and it is very accurate in telling you where the phone is. It's basically like Lojack for your phone.
4 ★I can locate/alarm/wipe my phone through the web or via SMS. Don't really need much more than that. **And to all the people complaining about uninstalling it...its a security app! You're not supposed to be able to just remove it in two easy clicks, otherwise the apps would be completely useless in the first place. Come on lol
1 ★Iv deactivated & tryed uninstalling several times. Its the dam app that wont go away. Do I need to factory reset or what? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Dnt dwn load this app!!!
5 ★I don't pay for it monthly but man oh man the remote wipe and the locate feature are awesome features to have. Thankfully I've never had to use them when in need but I know what that feeling is like. Highly recommend.
