Device Info HW is a hardware and software information app for Android devices.App trying detect components of your smartphone to provide complete information about device's hardware.
Now detection is supported for lcd, touchscreen, cameras, sensors, memory, flash, audio, nfc, charger, wi-fi and battery; if that possible for your device.
I think app is interesting and useful for users and developers who build kernels or android.
App has a quick navigation, fresh design. Also supports dark, black theme (in PRO version or 2 week in free)
You can switch by tab or use navigation panel. Many items are clickable and you can go to another tab or menu.
On recent devices reading some information is blocked.
App trying provide maximum information as possible. If you have root, app can read more (switch in settings)
Components
LCD - model. For recent android detection require root.
Also you can check the colors in lcd test.
Touchscreen - show model, also you can check how much fingers are supported in multi-touch test.
Camera - hardware info (model, vendor, resolution) and software info by API.
If can't detect camera model, sometimes available a list of supported cameras.
Detailed info about SoC in you device
CPU : model, cores, clusters, family, abi, governor, frequency
GPU : model, vendor, opengl, frequency, list of extensions
Click on the clock speed to open CPU monitor
System: complete info about your firmware build.
Memory: type lpddr and for some devices operating frequency.
Flash: chip and vendor emmc or ufs (scsi).
You can go to the memory tab and see usage of memory and storage.
Battery: base info and for some devices available extra info:
- Discharging speed is current consumption
- Charging speed is charge current minus current consumption
- Power profile - encoded by manufacturer for calculate consumption

Thermal: temperatures by thermal sensors
Sensors: availability of basic sensors and tests for them

5 ★Been using this app for the last 3 phones of mine, cause I totally hated CPUZ because of the excessive ads, so I want to say that I really appreciate the decision to not have ads at all. Though I wouldn't mind ads as long as it's not intrusive like popup ones like in CPUZ.
5 ★Solid App, shows most anything you would need to know in a clean user friendly layout. Highly recommended. (Though a preview of the data that can be optionally uploaded would be a nice addition)

5 ★Cool app I need to learn the LCM info where can I see it, it is not visible in general tab as the picture shows. *Xiaomi mi a2, no root Some displays have trouble with ubuntu touch it is said. *Any idea of how to check which LCM it has without root? I'm not that advanced user of android. Someone said JDI flicker on Ubuntu touch TIANMA is good.
5 ★Extremely useful app. I downloaded to check storage type, and along with that I got almost complete information about my device. I just wanted to know about how to check the working of sensor. I mean I wanted to test Proximity sensor and it shows a dark orange type bulb and 5 cm. What does it mean?

4 ★The problem is that you maybe doubting the accuracy of this kind of app. Because the popular Cpuz got wrong cpu model and Device Info can't show SoC. Unless you are after the chip model numbers only. This app did it. I just don't know. Hope there will be monitor refresh rate and better accuracy.

4 ★App is great and to the point Shows every bit of detail u might wanna know Its a solid 4.5/5 for me , coupd be better if a display pane is added along with a page that explains few terminology as not everyone understands everything . All in all recommended .
