NOTE: ThreatDown Admin is for use by IT Admins with existing access to their organization’s ThreatDown Nebula user console. Active ThreatDown Nebula licensing must be in place for users to access their environment via ThreatDown Admin. Support for MSP Partners to be added soon!

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★I just want to know if your business is that good, why couldn't you stop these no good hacks that have stolen my identity, stolen money, blacklisted my information and continue as I write this review. I have yet to find a company that can truly protect me and my information!
5 ★It works, but it may require resizing or a nicer layout.
1 ★needs improvements
1 ★Unable to sign in to the app. Tries to use SSO but doesn't actually do anything. Disappointing

4 ★Please don't just call your app 'Admin' - when it appears in the app list it a) doesn't appear where a user thinks it should (ie. under either 'ThreatDown' - weird rebrand btw - or for those of us who've been using it a while, 'Malwarebytes') and b) it isn't clear what app it actually is. As Google doesn't allow users to rename poorly-named apps it's incumbent on the app-maker to call it something sensible that clearly identifies itself and appears in a logical location.
