Description

Using this application you can calculate the net available space for Hard Drives or Storage after RAID implementation

RAID (originally redundant array of inexpensive disks, now commonly redundant array of independent disks) is a data storage virtualization technology that combines multiple physical disk drive components into a single logical unit for the purposes of data redundancy, performance improvement, or both.

Data is distributed across the drives in one of several ways, referred to as RAID levels, depending on the required level of redundancy and performance. The different schemas, or data distribution layouts, are named by the word RAID followed by a number, for example RAID 0 or RAID 1. Each schema, or RAID level, provides a different balance among the key goals: reliability, availability, performance, and capacity. RAID levels greater than RAID 0 provide protection against unrecoverable sector read errors, as well as against failures of whole physical drives.

Supported Raid Configurations:
Raid 0
Raid 1
Raid 5
Raid 6
Raid 10
Raid 50
Raid 60

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★It seems to work great except for the ads. If it didn't have the ads I would rate a five star
4 ★so far the app does everything I need it to do. really helped me plan out my next NAS build. straight forward concept. can you add a few more raid concepts though....like hybrid etc.? great app.
4 ★I really like it but humbly I offer two yips I velieve could make it better. Maybe you could add a drop down on disk size input for Terabytes and Gigsbytes ? Also when reporting if a result is less than 1 drop down that result. For example my was 1.2 Terabytes and parity space 0.12 Terabytes vs 120GB, now is the parity space was 1.12TB of course return it in Terabytes, or 0.5 Gigabytes return as 500MB.
3 ★Needs to round disk sizes, rather than displaying the raw double (e.g., 10.8 instead of 10.7999999999). Also doesn't support any other unit of disk capacity other than terabytes.
5 ★Good application
