Esta aplicación, desarrollada por la Dirección Nacional de Sustancias y Residuos Peligrosos (DNSyRP) que funciona en el marco de la Subsecretaría de Fiscalización y Recomposición, con financiamiento del Proyecto PNUD ARG 17/010, proporciona información acerca de productos domisanitarios y de línea jardín, y de sustancias químicas en general.Utiliza como fuentes de información las bases de datos de ANMAT y SENASA, y el Listado Nacional de Sustancias Existentes, Restringidas y Prohibidas desarrollado por la DNSyRP.
El usuario podrá ejecutar la búsqueda según los siguientes dos criterios: “producto” o “sustancia”. El primero utiliza como palabras claves el número de registro, marca, empresa o nombre comercial del producto. En cambio, la búsqueda de “sustancias” se puede realizar mediante el ingreso del nombre de la sustancia o su número de CAS.
La aplicación brinda información de interés sobre los productos en cuestión como: categoría toxicológica, nombre del producto, empresa que lo comercializa, presentación y fecha de vencimiento del registro.
En el caso de las sustancias, la información mostrada incluye nombre de la sustancia, CAS, usos comunes, estado actualizado y legislaciones asociadas.
Además, proporciona la posibilidad de realizar llamadas directas al Centro Nacional de Intoxicaciones en casos de emergencias causadas por sustancias químicas.
