La lengua bribri se habla en dos regiones de Costa Rica: en la vertiente atlántica de la cordillera de Talamanca, cantón de Talamanca, en la provincia de Limón (territorios indígenas de Talamanca Bribri y Kéköldi), y en la vertiente pacífica de la cordillera de Talamanca, cantón de Buenos Aires, en la provincia de Puntarenas (territorios indígenas de Salitre y Cabagra). También se habla en Panamá, en el distrito de Guabito, fronterizo con Costa Rica. Esta aplicación ha sido creada con la idea de funcionar como un recurso didáctico para las personas de las comunidades bribris. Cada letra del alfabeto de la lengua bribri se ejemplifica con una o más palabras presentadas de forma escrita y en audio, esto con el fin de aprender a asociar la escritura de las palabras con cómo se pronuncian en este idioma.
