Tirol / SüdtirolMit diesem Flurnamenatlas ist es möglich auf rund 170.000 historische Flurnamen aus ganz Südtirol und auf alle Gemeinde- und Katastralgrenzen digital zuzugreifen. Alle Daten können kostenlos importiert und in einer Karte angezeigt werden. Der Nutzer selbst legt fest, welche Hintergrundkarte von Google Maps verwendet wird. Im Autostart kann bestimmt werden, welche Flurnamen und Katastralgrenzen angezeigt werden.
Tracking-Routen können aufgezeichnet und gesichert werden und an andere Nutzer versendet werden. Sie können anschließend in jedem beliebigen Internet Browser angezeigt werden.
Eigene Punkte (POI`s) können in einer eigenen Liste abgespeichert und gesichert werden. Die eigene Position kann an andere Nutzer verschickt werden. Diese Möglichkeit kann besonders für Jäger und Wanderer hilfreich sein.
Eine praktische Funktion ist die Entfernungsmessung über die GPS-Ortung. Durch längeres Drücken auf die Karte kann die Distanz von der eigenen Position zum gewählten Punkt exakt berechnet werden. Auch zwischen Punkt und Punkt ist die Distanz der Luftlinie leicht zu bestimmen. Die Anzeige der Meereshöhe, sowie die Genauigkeit der Standortermittlung sind weitere praktische Funktionen.
