Description
Cng/Lpg Finder is a route planner and a tool for finding compressed natural gas (Cng) or liquified petroleum gas (Lpg) stations along the route or around a location. Lpg and Cng stations in Europe, USA and Canada are supported, 16 countries with LPG and 12 countries with CNG stations in Europe.Stations are searched along the route, around the current location or a location given by an address entered by the user. Parameter is the maximum distance from the route or from the location.
In Settings of the action bar the user can configure the start action, which is shown at start of the app. The start action can be the Route Request or the Circular Search of charging stations. The start action may be shown or executed immendiately applying the last used search criteria.
The details of stations are listed with name, description, distance on/from the route or from the location. Name and discription may contain the location, gas price, payment mode(credit card, cash) and opening hours.
Gas stations are presented on the map as markers. Clicking a marker opens an info window with the details of the stations.
If Google Maps Navigation, Sygic GPS Navigation, Navigon or WAZE GPS is installed on your android device,you may navigate from your current position to a selected route or station marker.
The station list can be saved to external storage and can be imported. Clicking the link of a station in the imported list will navigate to this station.
Additionally there is a paid version Cng/Lpg Finder Plus (package cnglpg.finder.plus).
Cng/Lpg Finder Plus provides additionally maintaing station files. So in particular the gas prices could be made up-to-date.
To ease finding well priced gas stations the markers are tagged by colored price indicators.
