Sunclock is an astronomical clock that displays• sunrise, sunset, true noon and the length of the day,
• civil twilight, nautical twilight and astronomical twilight,
• golden hour and blue hour,
• moonrise, moonset, and moon phase,
• sidereal time, solar time, equation of time, and coordinated universal time (UTC)
on an analog dial.
The dial is
• a unique double dial with 12 and 24 hours,
• a classic 24-hour dial
• or a special spiral dial.
Sunclock also displays ancient time measurements where the day is divided into twelve hours from sunrise to sunset, such as
• Byzantine Time, Roman Time, Athonite Time, Lost Time,
• Horae Temporales, Zmanim, Jewish clock, Hebrew hour, Eretz Yisrael clock,
• old Arabic clock, Arabic hour names
• and Alaturka hour system.
Other time systems divide the day from sunrise to sunset into six or eight parts, such as
• Rāhu Kalam (poison period in Vedic astrology),
• Wadokei (traditional Japanese clock)
• or 時辰, traditional Chinese hours, earthly branches.

5 ★Best clock app. Looks great and endlessly customisable. One of my favourite apps on my phone. Always takes up most of my home screen.
5 ★I love this app! The author, like me, is a complete geek about the sun, moon and timekeeping. I had a little question about tracking two alternate timezones and he pointed me to the home and abroad widgets. When combined with the wallpaper (whose settings I cut and pasted into the widgets) I can keep track of three different timezones.
4 ★Really attractive and highly customizable. There is a big problem that knocks a star off however. There is no way to disable daylight savings time. Living in México where DST is no longer observed means everything is off by one hour with no way to adjust for it. A DST disable option would make it 5-stars.
5 ★The 24 hour view with daylight really helps me get my day in perspective and allocate time better (including sleeping!)
3 ★Would rate a 5 and donate if did not need to reset after every phone update. Considering phones update every few days getting rather tedious. Love the concept of having moon phases, sunrise and sunset within a 24 hour clock.

4 ★A recurring problem I have is that my phone wallpaper keeps switching back to a default one at least once a week. However, it's ultra-customisable to the point where it's made my own app idea mostly redundant, and what I have is beautiful, thanks to this tool. Thank you. EDIT: made a workaround using the widgets, thank you for the swift response! Updated my rating. Have a nice day :)
3 ★A nice little app. It looks good, and does the job. The 24 hour mode doesn't work for a analogue clock, the hour hand works, but the minute hand doesn't, it needs a 12 hour dial as well, so the correct minutes show up. The option to show the northern hemisphere looks nice, but you're forgetting about us who live in the southern hemisphere, there needs to be the option to show the southern hemisphere as well. Otherwise, it's a nice clock.
5 ★I love how the app tells me the sun hours in my location. It really helps a lot when trying to set up a solar-powered system in one's home. I also like the straightforwardness of the app and its minimalism. It makes it easier to learn how to navigate the app. It has a lot of functionalities that other similar apps do not provide. Lastly, it's ads free! Kudos to the developer/s!
5 ★Very nice! I wish the widget also has the option to show the 2nd hand, but it's not necessary as that may consume too much battery. A bit more differentiation of the minutes indicators on the 24-hour clock would be welcome, too, like maybe circles or a different color to make them more obvious. The color of the 2nd hand would be nicer if it was red & thinner, & if it was a smooth movement (like an automatic) instead of a ticking motion (like a quartz). But as it is, it's become my one & only!
5 ★OHHH, just noticed the new UI customisation options... Holy...Comprehensiveness man! Outstanding work! Just love it, it's one of the rare cases of getting something nice and clean for free. widget works well, aside from very occasional delay in updates which has to do with Android power management (you can go to app settings in Android and change power saving options for the app.) wallpaper works great, no issues. The design and choice of colours is splendid.
