If you plan our flight before taking off you won't need to check maps and other graphic power and attention demanding stuff during the flight that could be devoted to the search of signs of lift or control the surrounding air traffic increasing safety.
Rather than investing our efforts in developing a showy graphical interface we've invested them in improving the algorithms that process sensor data to give the pilot accurate and reliable information about: vertical speed, wind speed and direction, navigation course to reach a waypoint, optimum fly speed, final glide altitude. And in the future will allow to: detect in flight collisions, send voice commands to the app, find thermals, etc.
The app supports a Bluefly external barometer module in case your phone didn't have a built-in barometer. All this for free, without ads and respecting to the utmost your privacy.
