O aplicativo Sucupira Pró-Reitor é voltado para atender os Pró-Reitores das Instituições de Ensino Superior do Brasil, permitindo aos mesmos terem acesso aos dados institucionais preenchidos pelos Coordenadores de Programas da Pós-Graduação Brasileira das suas Instituições de Ensino Superior. É uma aplicação de acompanhamento do preenchimento das informações do Sistema Nacional de Pós-Graduação (SNPG) da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes), uma fundação do Ministério da Educação (MEC), que permite acesso aos dados de Discente, Docentes, Produções Intelectuais entre outras informações utilizadas na avaliação dos cursos de pós-graduação das Instituições de Ensino a qual o Pro-Reitor é o responsável.
