الرتب العسكرية للجيش الوطني الشعبي الجزائريالرتب الجزائرية بالترتيب
بينما يتوفر الجيش الوطني الشعبي بكل فروعه تقريبا على رتبة جندي وهي اقل أو ادنى رتبة عسكرية فإن سلاح الدرك الوطني لا يحتوي على هذه الرتبة ، الرتب العسكرية في الدرك الوطني تبدأ بالدركيين وهم رتبة عريف
تنقسم الرتب العسكرية في الجزائر الى 5 ( خمس) تصنيفات ( نبدأ من القاعدة الى القمة ) :
➊ رتب رجال الصف :
➋ رتب ضباط الصف :
➌ رتب الضباط المرؤوسين :
➍ رتب الضباط السامين :
➎ رتب الضباط العمداء :
هناك نوعين من الضباط :
ضابط عامل (معناه أمضى على عقد 25 سنة خدمة) .
ضابط متعاقد ( معناه يمضي عقد عمل كل 7 سنوات و يجدد أو يرفض ) .
الترقيات العادية حكر على الفئة الاولى ، أما الفئة الثانية تترقى بشكل أبطأ .
كيف تتم الترقيات بالجيش الوطني الشعبي :
تتم الترقيات في الجيش الوطني الشعبي على أساس مدة الخدمة و المستوى العلمي و الدراسي .
الترقيات داخل الصنف تتم بشكل عادي أما الترقيات من صنف إلى صنف آخر تتم عبر مسابقة قبول .
فمثلا لكي يرقى الضابط المرؤوس ( نقيب على سبيل المثال ) الى ضابط سامي ( رائد ) عليه أن يثبت سنوات خدمة معينة في رتبته الحالية، ثم بعدها يترشح لمسابقة قبول و اذا نجح يدخل في دورة القيادة و الأركان بأكاديمية شرشال العسكرية ،مدة الدورة تختلف من تخصص لآخر بعدها يرقى الضابط المرؤوس الى ضابط سامي
أما فيما يخص الضباط السامين ( عقيد ) ممن يطمحون ليرقون الى ضباط عمداء ( عميد ) فعليهم كذلك اثبات مدة خدمة معينة ثم المسابقة و بعد النجاح يدخلون في دورات تكوينية من الطراز الرفيع بالمدرسة العليا الحربية تنتهي بتقديم مذكرة أو أطروحة حول القضايا الأمنية و العسكرية الراهنة و بعدها تتم الترقية
أما فيما يخص الترقيات داخل الصنف الواحد مثلا من ملازم الى ملازم أول أو من رائد الى مقدم فانها لا تستدعي مسابقة و دورة تكوينية بل يتم الاعتماد فيها فقط على مدة الخدمة
ء التقاعد إختياري وليس إجباري لكبار السن .
ء الجندي لايحمل شارة .
ء هناك ترقيات إستثنائية وهي من صلاحيات وزير الدفاع أو الرجل الأول في الدولة .
و هذا ما جعله يصنف على أنه شديد الانضباط و أكثر الجيوش تنظيما في شمال افريقيا.
