Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★it's great! but i have a few problems with the app that i wish would be fixed. first, the app crashes and takes me back to my observations after i've been scrolling through others observations for a while. second, the map search area is slightly offset to the left. For example, search in the area "Thiruvananthapuram, KL, IN". you'll see that the area is slightly offset to the left from the actual borders on the map. pls fix. thank u
3 ★2/14- When is this bug going to be fixed? Very disappointed that I can't use the app anymore! 2/09- Still can't upload or share to iNat. 1/31- I really like iNaturalist, but for the past 4 days it crashes every time I try to upload a photo, whether by sharing from my gallery or uploading through iNat and then I end up with unknown species that I can't do anything with except delete it. I've cleared the phone cache and restarted my phone multiple times and it still doesn't work. Very frustrated.
5 ★So far so good. It is winter here so not able to use ot much yet
3 ★Don't get me wrong, this is a brilliant service that I use every day. But the issue is that the app doesn't perform as well as it could. Loading takes longer than on the website, and sometimes it crashes. This is often triggered when I open one of my own observations. Also, it would be nice if the "can the identification be improved" option were available. I mainly use the website on PC anyway, but still, it would be good to have all functionality on Android as well.
5 ★Great
5 ★The app works excellently for uploading observations, quick ID of my own obs, and exploring local area specific observations. However it doesn't really work for id'ing others obs. I find it's quite buggy for this, Often the ID's selected don't save. Which is a pity because I would love to help ID others obs on my morning commute.
5 ★It's a little rough around the edges but it's still an amazing app if you love nature.
5 ★The most comprehensive and pleasurable experience! iNaturalist is a genuine addition to your field notebook. It is deceptively minimal, allowing you to upload your observations without any distractions, while its expansive database of flora and fauna ensure that you never feel lost when you're identifying an organism. Its wonderfully feature rich and the community is quite helpful for reviewing and IDing observations across the globe.
1 ★Menu not good on my Android
1 ★Couldn't identify a single bird photo I fed into it. Finally deleted it. Worthless.
