Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★It works well. It could improve with options and app notification settingsto get rid of the heads-up notifications automatically from the App. To the people complaining about having both (heads-up and thicker), you need to disable "preview" in each app notification in Settings > Sounds and notifications > App notifications.
2 ★I still get the heads up notifications in addition to the ticker notifications.
3 ★It doesn't work with Xiaomi devices
3 ★Needs more options such as to disable it on lockscreen and a blacklist.
3 ★Still get heads up notifications for some apps, could be great if none showed up.
2 ★Doesn't play well with 8.0
4 ★Thanks for trying to make this work. Keep improving :)
3 ★Right now the font isnt the same font as the system. Or font size at least. If the notification is too long you can scroll over to the right to read more, only thing is it takes over your notification bar so you can't swipe down until it dismisses itself. It displays over the heads up notification so you end up getting 2 notifications for 1. Overall its okay, needs improvement or possibly root to get the real ticker back.
4 ★For example, you can't pull down the notification shade when you have a ticking notification there. It also doesn't do away with any heads up notifications, so then the ticker becomes redundant.
1 ★App is no longer under development. Will not work on recent versions of Android. Will not work on devices with a "notch".
3 ★needs color
5 ★Great first try.
