Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Since I switched my Nokia N900 to Samsung Galaxy Note I've been looking for a way to have a similar "Alt+Tab" function as it had in the Maemo 5 OS (You just simply had a constant task switch button in the upper-left corner and it took you to a Windows 7-like Alt+Tab menu, where you had a live preview of all the currently running apps and could jump to any one of them, and had a function to kill them 1 by 1). Now this app, does not show you a preview (that would be André Rabold's Perfect Task Switcher...however that requires rooting to have previews and I do not want to void my software warranty just yet), but it gets the job done. PreHome makes it remarkably simple to navigate between apps with a simple Home button push, and with another push you can get back to the actual home launcher. So I would say this is one of the most useful apps for someone who likes practical things, and I'm glad to have it. (The only way it could be better if it could show live previews of the running apps.) Thanks for the great app :)
5 ★This is the best thing that has happened to my phone ever…Droid 3 won't let you set it's native homescreen app to default on home button press. Prehome will do this if you tell it to in the prefs while adding functionality on one home press. Now I can keep my homescreen customizations while jumping between my other launchers without them hijacking my homescreen. TY! (PS use Home Control or some home manager to switch between home launchers.)
5 ★I found out that the reason for the default home screen resetting itself after every reboot is no other then prehome. When prehome is installed and I set any launcher to default and reboot phone the default home is cleqres and am forces to select a new default home every reboot as well as every install/uninstall of an app. Very annoying. Almost decided to format phone. Uninstalled until this is fixed. 2.3GB SGS II UPDATE: Nevermind fault was Go Launcher.
5 ★Using it with "Go Launcher" on SGS2. Set to run this application on "glide up" gesture. Desktop is still displaying first by pressing "home" button. Works perfect! PreHome shows currently running and recent applications separately. Very helpful app!
5 ★for those who doesn't like the user-unfriendly "long press home" native task switcher.
4 ★Just need a dock to make android perfect .
5 ★tried out a bunch of apps tor switching tasks. settled for this one!!!
5 ★Works seamlessly and makes navigating on the phone so much simpler and streamlined.
5 ★Been looking for this everywhere
5 ★Thank you. :-)
5 ★It works perfectly
5 ★There is a little bug though, when using in "single mode" click. If there are no open application, PreHome won't open of course and there is a blink of it, and in Home Screen if you're on screen no. 2 or 3 and so on, pressing "Home" button won't take you to the first page, you need to scroll back to the first screen. If you are in Menu, or there is an open application (and PreHome is up), pressing "Home" will take you to the first page of your Home Screen. Samsung Galaxy Ace (GT-S5830), Froyo 2.2.1.
