PDI wyróżnia kompaktowość polegająca na umieszczeniu eksponatów w czarnym, ekskluzywnie prezentującym się kontenerze morskim (Mobilnym Instytucie Kultury) zaaranżowanym na wzór przestrzeni mieszkalnej. Św. Katarzyny najlepszy dizajn z Polski. Całości wernisażowych wydarzeń towarzyszyć będzie oprawa muzyczna oraz 3D mapping. Następnie, na trasie PDI pojawi się Łódź, w której MIK zaprezentuje się na najbardziej prestiżowym wydarzeniu w Polsce – Łódź Design Festival. W Kopenhadze zaś rozgości się przy siedzibie Ambasady RP, aby stamtąd opowiadać o dizajnie i przemysłach kreatywnych z Polski. PDI Szczecin – to finał podróży, ale i bonus działań. W stolicy Pomorza Zachodniego wystawa wzbogacona zostanie o prelekcje, rozbudowaną strefę dla wystawców z Polski, pokaz mody, warsztaty i sety DJ-skie.
