QiBrd free synthesizer allows to unleash your potential even if you don't know how to play a musical instrument.This synth is not only free, it also has got no ads! Why? Just because I made it for myself and I use it!
Unlike apps that copy classic instruments like Moog, Korg, DSI, Roland or Clavia, QiBrd synthesizer has been designed to:
+ be powerful and controllable without exposing the synth engine
+ have the most possible controls on screen
+ assign the most possible dramatic timbral change to each control
+ show an easy interface to make the sounds evolve and change even with one single hand.
We wanted the most expressive electronic synthesizer that we could ever program.
We followed this idea while creating this musical instrument, avoiding all what can be difficult or tricky, like complex sound generation parameters. Instead, we included all what appeared to have a direct and immediate impact on the sound timbre and evolution. That's the idea behind QiBrd synth.
It has become a very powerful and yet incredibly easy synthesizer, with virtual analog synth sounds, vintage timbres, electronic techno and trance sounds, and even a small drum machine.
The free 20 included sounds use multiple synthesis techniques and span from progressive rock to modern techno, from melodic to noisy, from classic to contemporary, from vintage to trance. They all share two main characteristic:
+ they can be controlled to evolve and change
+ they are easy.
Indeed, every patch is associated to a scale and to the controllers that are exactly aimed to work with that particular sound, so that every touch you make will change something in timbre or in pitch of your synth, yet keeping it always in tune.

5 ★What a wonderful little synth app! I've been looking for something like this for awhile and I'm happy that I found it.
2 ★Cute few sounds i made, the rest of the time i couldnt figure out how to work any if it. Too confusing. I mean i like the design but what if I'm a newbie at this type thing i deserve to use the app not have to go through a college course to be able to make sense of it. Im not stupid either i actually graduated from college. But you get my point right? I think the layout is great and different its just too hard to understand what button functions what etc etc. Please!! No more school
5 ★This app is super amazing so far. I've tried many similar apps and this one blows my mind where others fell short. There is a paid $3 app that allows you to record - I haven't tried this, but assuming it works, it strikes me as a very good value given the quality of this product. The only caveat is you will likely want to plug your phone in when using. This varies by phone, but on my J7 Android (with 2 days of battery life per charge w/ average use), it lost 40% in 20 min. It's an ambitious app.
5 ★This is actually a reallyg cool app and simple to use & figure out... it doesnt have a MASSIVE range as far as options, but it's FREE and really satisfying to play. If it wasnt free I'd still totally recommend it.
5 ★this is fun, the sounds have lots of potential, using my phone and recording into abelton.
3 ★The concept is cool. Unfortunately I'm getting constant clicking so either my system doesn't have enough memory or it's glitching. Had a couple crashes right away too. I've run a number of different synth apps without a problem but I imagine the resources needed to run this are pretty steep (as far as Android goes). Even at 8bit its still clicking. Too bad. I like the layout.
4 ★Some of the synths included are incredibly quiet, even at full volume, and serve better as quick sound effects rather than anything you'd want to play around with a long time; these things makes them kind of pointless. However, the first synth that you are introduced to sounds fantastic, and has a lot of options, meaning you can play around with the sound in a lot of ways, but even from the get-go it sounds like a synth you might hear on a track by Air. The introduction/tutorial was really good, quick and to the point, and the claimed enough for me to just experiment on my own soon after. The randomizer is also very much welcome, for highlighting some sounds that you might not have come across on your own. Generally speaking this is great for a free app

5 ★In my opinion, this is definitely the best synth app available on Android for quick, and on the fly expression. Bend and adjust parameters as you play to suit you need at the time. Also, extremely easy to use, but don't let that fool you into thinking the quality isn't there. You can acheive beautiful and lush instruments here. This is a great synth for the beginner and veteran alike.
