1 ★To calibrate battery. You don't need to risk your phone and force it to perform at 110% - you simply discharge battery with regular use. Then unplug battery and fully charge phone for 8 hours while turned off. Give me a good reason of why we should try this and I give you 5 stars
1 ★Does drain the battery, but destroyed my battery and battery life. Before my battery would last 2 days, hence why i downloaded this app, and now it lasts me half a day.... internal battery.... fml
4 ★Good but if you have a note 2 this take longer then you would then expect for me took 1 hours ish for 50% to 15 but still got me there good app
5 ★Many options to select from. Did as required. Just insure you have the recommended amp charger. Charging higher then recommend seemed not to work for me while i was charging when I drained the battery. Once proper charger was connected... as well.

5 ★Regan Ingley you need to go to college so you don't say such ignorant, guessed bullshit. I set it to run before going to bed with every setting turned on even those that do not apply to my tablet. The battery was dead the following morning when I pressed the power button. I received the dead battery symbol. I restarted the tablet plugged in. The tablet claimed...62% charged! This is why I discharged it. I THEN PULLED THE PLUG. It shot down to 1% and begged for the charger. After several reboots, % checks in the OS and plug pulls, the battery was finally calibrated properly and recharging as it should. Great application and it's safe. Unless your device's Kernel is built with values that set circuit Z too low, the battery will never supply current so fast it's destroyed. If that were the case, it would at the very least melt some plastic if not start a fire. Batteries have internal resistance which if the terminals are shorted or see too low of a circuit nominal, will generate dangerous levels of heat, increase internal resistance as it discharges and this is where your battery is compromised. Odds are a week old device battery problems = defective battery.
5 ★Most importantly, it includes user adjustable safeguards to prevent damaging your phone. Very good app
1 ★I do not recommend anyone to use this app as it destroyed my phone's battery. I can't use my phone unplugged otherwise it switches off!
4 ★Fast Discharge does what it says, every time; I've never had issues with it. For the last 3 years I've used it every few months to remind my battery of its "zero" value.
