A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★The camera ID function worked so well! I was able accurately ID edible, non-edible, and poisonous mushrooms. Chanterelles, coral, russala, chicken of the woods, panther amonita (poisonous). It didn't work well for lobster, but those are pretty easy to ID.
4 ★Overall not a bad App. I installed it because I have recently taken an interest in foraging and want to know what is safe. So as well as avoiding poisonous or inedible mushrooms, I also want to confirm that those I think are edible are indeed safe to eat. For some inexplicable reason it doesn't explicitly list or describe the field/meadow mushroom. I recently came across what I thought were these, but as I could'nt positively identify them via the app I didn't pick them.
2 ★Mycology venacular leaves much to be desired. Some identification characteristics are simply wrong. Many i.d characteristics absent or very minimal. Species are limited. Camera option should not be trusted and it is a looooong way from any technology being able to correctly function in the manner this is intended. Possibly functions better on new phones? The specimens i tested were incorrectly identified (7/10). I would use this along side a fungi i.d key or some form of i.d visual glossary.
5 ★A really excellent app, especially if you love mushrooms! Yum! Some of the text in English could use some proof reading and altering. It is obvious that the developers have spent 100's of hour creating the app and for that I was happy to donate. Well done!!
2 ★Very inaccurate results and could be dangerous. The app is beautiful with hand drawings but that doesn't redeem the app. The sound alerts are horrible and I couldn't find a way to switch them off. Not worth paying for the extensions as the library is so very limited. Use Google lens instead
1 ★Please, don't waste your time on this app. It doesn't recognize some of the most common mushrooms. It identified a chanterelle as a bolete and a beefsteak as an artist conk. The app only got one right out of ten COMMON mushrooms. Don't waste your time with this one.
1 ★One of three Apps I use, This app is dangerous. It was unable to identify some very recognizable fungi. One being the amethyst deceiver which is nearly unmistakable. It's possible my coverage was part of the problem, but the app just thrown up all kind of fingi but not the actual one I was identifying.
1 ★This app has little information, to use the entire app you have to donate to the developers. Now I wouldnt ne totally against that however the accuracy of the identifier is absurdly disappointing. There is no accuracy in the slightest and to even view details on any given specimen you have to once again donate to the developers who get ALL of their information from wikipedia. Definitely going back to the previous app I have downloaded.
5 ★Great way to find out about mushrooms you picking. Even though the database is not extremely big, it is enough for most common mushrooms for your dinner. Of course use your common sense and check in detail to confirm the app's guess
5 ★It is a great app my only complaint is there is no key to explain what they symbols mean, the green with a knife and fork are edible I presumed and the grey symbol with the cross is inedible yet some are listed as edible in the description then there are green with exclamation point's. Otherwise good app x
4 ★I do like the app. If I could change one thing, I'd create the ability to cross reference common mushroom names as well as their technical names. Other than that, my phone will be in the forest with me more often.
4 ★Great for IDing mushrooms in front of you, crashes when you try to upload a picture to ID.
