Ruca-Huemul AR, es una app de Realidad Aumentada de la ONG Aumen, que forma parte de la iniciativa de Conservación de Especies Amenazadas Ministerio Medio Ambiente, Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Alimentación y la Agricultura y el proyecto GEF sobre conservación de especies amenazadas. Su objetivo es la Divulgación de la importancia de la biodiversidad y los procesos ecológicos, y tiene como temática central acercar la Reserva de la Biosfera “Corredor Biológico Nevados de Chillan – Laguna del Laja” ubicada en las regiones de Ñuble y Biobío.Ruca-Huemul AR permitirá visualizar 4 objetos de conservación que residen en la Reserva de la Biosfera. Entre ellas destacan, el Huemul, Volcán Nevados de Chillan, la actividad ancestral de las veranadas y un Mapa del Corredor Biológico Nevados de Chillan - Laguna del Laja.
Para visualizar, debe buscar en el sendero Ruca- Huemul los marcadores en blanco y negro que funcionan como patron de reconocimiento, estos marcadores además, se pueden utilizar como material educativo para aumentar el aprendizaje, ya que, contiene información que te permitirá conocer datos actualizados de cada objeto de conservación, tales como: descripción general del objeto de conservación, acciones de conservación y referencias de literatura.
