La UPCTApp es una aplicación para dispositivos móviles de la Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena que dispone de servicios de geolocalización de los principales edificios, escuelas y servicios de la Universidad. Muestra la ultimas noticias y permite consultar los eventos. Adicionalmente, el alumno podrá consultar su progreso académico, su matrícula, sus notas y las convocatorias de examen. También podrá consultar el directorio de sus profesores.Adicionalmente, se puede acceder directamente al Aulavirtual, realizar reservas de instalaciones deportivas y la inscripción en actividades deportivas. Esta aplicación incluye un apartado "Social", que permite establecer comunicaciones entre compañeros de una misma clase con mensajería en tiempo real.
Cada evento asociado a la publicación de calificaciones, a una convocatoria de examen o un mensaje es comunicado por el sistema de mensajería de Google.
