Nato nel 2007 dall'idea e dalla passione per il calcio a 5 dell'organizzatore Raffaele, il Torneo Mikonos Cup è un nome di riferimento per chi, nella Capitale, ama il calcio a 5 in tutte le sue manifestazioni. Il torneo è arrivato alla decima edizione. Diversi i nomi di spicco che hanno calcato i campi della manifestazione: da Sergio Romano, Apicerni, Delgado e tanti altri che hanno dato ulteriore lustro alla rassegna, che vive però in continua evoluzione,rinnovandosi di anno in anno, sulla spinta di quel cambiamento che contribuisce a renderlo sempre più esaltante.
