- Notification Screen On won't work on Samsung devices with Android 10. It will work on other devices with Android 10 (excluding Huawei, Xiaomi and One Plus). I can not change this, as the manufacturers modified Android so th wakelock Screen On uses, does not work (Must likely due to power saving issues). Sorry for any inconveniences.
How to install Screen On APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Screen On APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

5 ★love this app! it works exactly as described in my Google Pixel 2, simple and easy to use with a variety of options. I added a button to my notification area so with a swipe and a tap i can enable Screen On. My small gripe is that as soon as it is enabled, it uses a persistent notification which clutters the notifications. UPDATE: changed to 5 stars after Dieter explained the background service: it is needed to listen to global events like headset plugged, screen off, etc.
4 ★if you have both enable on app start and disable on screen off enabled, it glitches. if you close the app with the middle button, not the back button, and then turn off screen, next time you open the app it does not autoenable. otherwise a solid app. also, quick setting tile closes setting drawer when you tap it.
4 ★This i a very good app, except that it should have a better and a more visible icon. I am using Nokia 8, the icon is yellow with a white background so it is sometimes annoying to find the app in the list of apps. It is not so visible as it should/can be, and i will change rating to 5 if this is resolved in the near future. Thank you for this app, it makes a hard day - easier.
1 ★This app currently is not working on my Galaxy S9. The phone software went through an update on 02/10/2020. I tried a few other apps similar to this and they don't work either. Was hoping this one would but it doesn't. I will keep this app until it is fixed but disable it for now. Please fix as this looks to be a great app. I will also update my rating. Thanks
4 ★I love this app, but I have a question. In the past, when the app is on, a little light bulb appeared up in the corner of my screen so I'd know that it was on. Now, when I click the app, it opens and here is an on/off button in the app that I use to turn on and off now. I used to just touch the icon on my screen, the light bulb appeared in the corner and I could touch it to turn off the functionality. Is that "light bulb in the corner" functionality gone now? If not, how can I get it back. I have a Note 8. Thanks!

Has lots of nice little features and customisations but most importantly the basics work flawlessly on my S10/Pie (screen stays on, dim function actually works, ease of use to activate/deactivate). Also free and no ads (if you ever do choose to include ads please provide a paid version without ads). Only small improvement I would like is option to Turn Off when clicking the Notification when Screen On is running (like Disable on App Start but when clicking the Notification). Thanks.
5 ★Exactly what I needed, works perfectly. Keeps my screen on DIm (but doesn't go off) during long phone calls. I often switch between MUTE-UNMUTE and this makes it so easy - as I don't have to press the power screen to turn on the screen. And the screen is dimmed so it uses very little battery. Good job!
3 ★Used to work like a champ when I first downloaded it, but I think an update to my Samsung Galaxy J7 Refine is making it so it doesn't work when it's not charging without constantly reactivating the app. EDIT AND UPDATE: I figured out that you can MANUALLY give app all permissions and force the phone to obey the app. Now, it works like a charm! Second Edit. I thought my trick worked, but the app keeps disabling itself. I need to find a way for it to stay on...

5 ★Excellent app, so easy to use. Very stable, with no bugs, and NO ADS, yay!! Works nicely in the background, once you have adjusted your settings, off it goes, no problems!! I have donated to the Dev, just because they deserve the support for creating this app. Thank you very much.
5 ★For whatever reason when I set my screen to not sleep in my device settings, it continues to turn black after 15 seconds. This app fixes that problem. My screen stays on and the use of this app is convenient with an icon to turn it on and off in the notification pulldown.
