5 ★Just love playing scrabble on my own or with my family I have learnt a lot more words
3 ★Scrabble is a great game and this app is fun to play on. The problems with it are: the number of adverts (readily blocked with a bit of know-how). The other annoyance is that it calls using all 7 letters a "bingo" (a totally different game involving numbers!). These annoyances aside. the game feels professionally put together and works very well.
1 ★Nice game that's been totally ruined by your poor quality ads, especially the playable ones that never load and always hang the game!!! Every single time the playable golf ad I think is supposed to show, you can be rest assured the game will hang and force you to shut down the app!!! Not only is this not a practical or fun way to use an app, but also shows that the makers care more about running ads than about running a smooth game! I understand the need to make money, but this is just shameful!
1 ★Ads after EVERY turn! For lovers of Scrabble who enjoy thinking in depth about their strategy and planning their moves, the number of adverts really detracts from the sense of enjoyment and leads you to wanting to hurry up and finish the game. It feels like such an unwanted and unnecessary invasion of privacy. I'm sure Scrabble fans would love to pay a small premium for an ad-free version that guaranteed hours of uninterrupted and enjoyable gamelay.
1 ★3rd review and no better - if anything, worse. Really enjoyed this game when first installed and played many hours on it. Got some terrific scores too - then it was updated and is now horrendous. The ads freeze so you can't get back to the game, the screen frequently goes black for several minutes and the actual game comes up, then goes off to black screen, then back on and back off. Really annoying - not worthy of one star. The time has come sadly to uninstall it 😠😠
1 ★Too many very long ads which can take several minutes to load, these are far too frequent, very annoying, especially the latest Microsoft advert which is 30 seconds long and is shown between almost every word play. Do not use this app if you use mobile data, it will quickly gobble up your data within minutes! This app is now even worse for long 30 sec ads, plus now you are forced to watch shorter ads for 10 seconds before they can be cancelled manually. DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT WILL COST A FORTUNE.
1 ★It's scrabble. Great game, absolute classic. But on Android I have to watch a 30 second advert after *every* move - and often the same one. I would happily pay to remove the ads but this isn't an option so, much as I'd love to support the original, I'm off to find an ad-free, paid for, clone.
1 ★Horrible. In addition to Ads on each page, Ads come after every move. This is too much. Developers want to earn money from ads but they are ruining the fun of playing a game by such frequent ads. Uninstalling after ten minutes of play. No need to download guys. These people should know how they are ruining it
2 ★I really like this app as it is one of the only scrabble apps that follow the original rules however the ads make it unbearable. Not only that, just about every time an ad plays (which is after every. single. turn and is usually 30 seconds without the option to skip) the app freezes which means I have to fully close the app before I can carry on with another match. Ontop of that, by having to close the app, I don't get a chance to see what the teacher said for that round. EA, PLEASE FIX.
2 ★First of all, you get an ad every 2 turns which is ridiculous. Secondly, the single player vs CPU is terrible. The CPU is very condescending but much worse is the fact that it doesn't follow the rules of Scrabble. The rules clearly state that a word may be challenged by your opponent and if it is not present in the ENGLISH dictionary, the word is removed from the board and you lose your turn. So why did the game play a THAI word against me without giving me the option to challenge it?!
1 ★way to many adverts, literally a long video ad after EVERY go. imagine what a pain it is when 0laying a few different people. cant find an option to buy to stop ads. crashes often. shame as it could be a great game. starting to get bored with the amount of video ads so am considering uninstalling.
2 ★A good game littered with many video ads every few minutes with no way to skip them. it quickly becomes too much and you quit before finishing a game - it you turn off network and they get no ads. I totally understand the need for ads to pay for free games, and i support it, but there is a level where it becomes impossibly annoying - well done, you've reached it.
